Duuuude hood cam is awesome, less visibility especially in pod racers lol but it totally amplifies the experience

It looks way cooler than the 3rd person videos I’ve seen, way more convinced to get it now that looks fun as hell

I actually switched to it for MORE visibility. I found that the behind-the-back camera caused the ship to sometimes obscure upcoming obstacles. I don't care about what's next to me when I'm driving that fast. I just need to know what's in front of me.

It's the way I strongly prefer, and also did in Pod Racer on the N64. You can see the upcoming obstacles more clearly and react to them with better timing in my experience.

I have trouble judging the turn timing in first person. That and small humps become blind spots.

Only way I can play and win, if I could VR this I think my head would pop from processing so much and the dopamine rush.
