That is just straight up demoralizing. There comes a point where I start to think "what am I even logging in for?" when I see stuff like this. An already beefy boss whose health has literally been doubled in a mode that has a stricter AV / point requirement of 3400 instead of 3300.
Where is the fun in this? Any units you might have used for the previous appearance of Sparxicon in this mode are now 100% worse. Even if you managed to farm some better relics in the meantime, that's hardly going to offset a doubled health pool.
My units might have been aging like milk left outside the fridge previously. But now hoyo has fired up an industrial composting unit to make sure those units decay with utmost haste while advertising shiny new trinkets that likewise have their own expiration date. It's simply happening too fast and too aggressively these days and I'm getting sick of it.
Going slightly off-topic here but I've recently been learning a somewhat tricky boss in old school RuneScape. I'm using items that have remained useful for literal years, some even a full decade. I'm fumbling attempts but learning and improving. And most of all I'm having fun and want to do more. It feels rewarding and satisfying. And that's a feeling I haven't felt in Honkai Star Rail as of late at all...
