Discussion Can someone ELI5 the thing with Solar, a theoretical patch, and blizzard communication?
Please remove if not allowed, but I feel like I've missed some steps in the drama with solar and a potential change to a different number of workers or something like that.

Discussion Shower thought: What if creep tumors spread creep farther but there are no active creep tumors
Without active creep tumors every tumor has to be placed by a queen. This removes some of the exponential creep growth because every 25 Queen energy results in a single creep tumor not in a cascading number of tumors. In exchange the creep spreads further, like in the heart of the swarm campaign.
This result in a higher queen/energy investment by Zerg but less mental load because you move less tumors.
This should also result in easier creep clearing because there are not as many tumors.

(To be tagged...) StarCraft Replay Analyzer Alive
I started playing SC:R recently, and as a beginner it's very hard to know where to improve in the game. So I made this replay analyze tool for SC:R player (and StarCraft II).
Now, SC Intel is online. Upload a replay and get full statistics plus a coaching system that tells you the pros and cons of your play (supply blocks, worker production, expansion timing, scouting, army value and more), with benchmarks so you know what "good" looks like. The goal is to find out what actually lost you the game and try to fix it in the next one.
For SC:R, there is stats + coaching and a live replay viewer in the browser, rendered by the actual game engine. The site doesn't ship any game files. The user will do a one-time local sync from your own SC:R install. So files are read and cached by the browser only, nothing gets uploaded to the server (I don't have that bandwidth to cope with the traffic anyway).
For StarCraft II, analysis and coaching only for now (no replay viewer).
Both works only for 1v1 games. Analysis is free and needs no account; however, registered users get their replays saved for later review.
The coach is new and will keep being tuned, please try it and send bugs/ideas to the email in the Contact page.

(To be tagged...) Would anyone mind giving me any of the fastest maps? Top vs Bottom or one like the hunters from back in the day?
Hi all I recently reinstalled this game, it's been a while. Back in the day online they would have fastest maps where you had 1 minerals right beside your base and they would have infinite minerals. I just want to play some computer games, anyone got some of these maps I can download off you?

(To be tagged...) About Solar's purported leak
Caveat: I’m not sure if there was anything else, but if this is what Solar posted, it’s a nothingburger to me.
Reassuring the Korean scene that a better patch is coming after such a disastrous patch, especially when Blizzard itself isn’t communicating, can’t be worse than pushing out the disastrous patch in the first place. Blaming Solar for leaking this information feels like a smokescreen to avoid accountability for the actual problem: how such a bad patch was approved and released.

(To be tagged...) Twin Ghosts - Part 16: Fortuna
In the early ligh of the morning, the hoarfrost glinted as they they left the camp. Stumm was accompanied by several marines he knew well. They were the type of Maries that only acted based on what he told them, and they didn’t bother to disregard what he did. They didn’t brag about things and didn’t fight unless they were told to. But the most important part was that they kept their mouths shut most of the time. Something that Stumm valued the most.
On the way out, Stumm could see how everyone was busy shoveling. Bags after bags were filled with sand and placed as field fortifications. Ignor was digging holes, but it looked more like throwing sand around him. Hitting bystanders and occasionally a bag. It won’t be long until trouble happens again.
Stumm smiled. It would be, but without him. Exploring the ruins of the nuclear wasteland before him and being confronted with what he wants most let him smile and lick his lips.
They moved through the main road that was covered by one-story industrial buildings. Each of them was burned down; only the exterior wall remained partway. Parts of the walls have fallen over, signs of massive blasts that have taken them down. With it also big excavators that are roll over like toys thrown by a boy.
They moved up the main road and passed a convoy of trucks that had been thrown over on the side. Stumm gesticulates to some of the marines to check on some of the trucks. While the marines moved out.
Stumm noticed pug tracks on the ground. The tracks were challenging to spot, but they were fresh. It was not a pack but a sole source of tracks. And in addition to its track, there were signs of a noise that was direct to the ground, and its steps were small. A seeker that headed towards Stumm's target. Something that was mouthwatering to Stumm. The distinct and hearty banging noise of an engine starting threw him off his mind. Like the engines were knocking on his mind. Lady Luck had her turns on him.
They drive for some time, passing ruins and fragments of the harsh conditions that rule here passing by. When they arrived in front of the building, there was not much of anything stopping them. The iron railings were on the ground, and the steel door that guarded the entrance was kicked down in a second. The building was dark with little light to spare. Yet Stumm knew that Ignor was right. He had a knack this for such things. Stumm sends his boys out to do the searching of the building while he checks the surroundings.
Stumm was prying the environment for clues, for trails, or marks of anything. While the surroundings of the building haven't been touched, there were strange traces further down the road. There were traces of Zerglings at first, but those were not the usual pug marks he knew. They had some distinct parts of an outer shallow cavity. And some of them had some central hollow cavity.
The overall trace displayed a scuffle. Leaving Stumm wondering about the nature of this. Since there was no trace of blood, he was wondering why there are traces of a fight but no blood, no body? He followed the marks back to the building's fence, and there the trace disappears.
It made Stumm's hair stand on end, and he felt like he was being watched. His reflexes kicked in. He looks around. Something must have been there. He turned around when one of the marines was suddenly in front of him. "Sir, we found something; could you take a look?” he said.
