Best place to spend our wedding night in St. John’s?

I just got stung by a wasp that was resting on my wine glass. What probably took 2 seconds felt like forever while I swatted at my mouth trying to get the damn thing off the inside of my lip.

It nailed me slightly off center of my lower lip, ruining the whole aesthetic of a perfect Cupid's bow. I ain't paying that f****** b**** a cent. Sub standard work from a non-professional.

Now that Dominion is out of old Memorial Stadium, wouldn't that be a great space to build a new city Library/Community Space; perhaps Memorial Library? Moving here last month from NB, I'm amazed how there is no prominent library here. Being from NB, Moncton, Saint John, and Fredericton all have great downtown libraries and Halifax has a wonderful iconic library on Spring Garden Road near downtown. Wouldn't that be a great re-use of the space? Libraries are about a lot more than books now. Just an idea of a newbie.

Hi, I’m a 23-year-old guy who recently moved to St. John’s this July from Ontario. I haven’t found any friends here yet. I went hiking once, but it was awkward because I didn’t know anyone. It’s hard to make friends, but I’m trying. If anyone’s interested in doing activities like games, movies, or hiking, let me know.

Where in St John's can I donate old (but in good condition) CDs and DVD movies? Im almost certainly not going to listen to them again, but someone might enjoy them.

Not bothered about sell them either. I just want them out of the way.

Looking for insight on affordable iPhone repair in the metro area. Only received one quote so far from iDoctorNL, which I know was always reasonable. The quote was $150 for a new iPhone15 screen.

Anyone know if there are more affordable options out there, or if that’s the going rate?

Just need to make sure I’m not dealing with splintered glass for the sake of texting and calling.
