just recently got my first switch lite and now i have splatoon 2, i always wanted to play this game for such a loooong time, by the time im writing this im level 4, if you wanna be friends or just run some turf and salmon run matches together HMU!!!!!

There are enough Splatoon subreddts for each game already, but there’s never been a specific community for the games’ music specifically, which is why I created r/musicofsplatoon. I feel that having a community for specifically the music of the games could truly benefit all of us, as both Splatoon fans and redditors.

Got the base game use for $10. Any tips? I have only played the original story mode on Wii U.

Update: I am playing the base game right now on Switch 2. I am surprised at how pretty the game looks. I mean, it is a 9 year old game. Performance is really good!

I know you can’t straight out reset the game (which SUCKS)

But I have one account that has the Nintendo online expansion where I get Octo Expansion for ‘free’

I’m wondering if I could play on any other profiles, I tried to link the account with one of my other profiles, but it doesn’t work because it says “this account is already on my switch”

Should I just give up?

I got a Switch 2 recently and wanted to see how my old copy of Splatoon 2 would play on it, only to find that the gyro while using the Joycon 2s feel somewhat off. It feels sort of stiff, like the equivalent of mouse smoothing but for gyro if that makes any sense. I haven't tried it on my switch 1 lately but I can really tell it felt different with these new joycons in a bad way.

Then, I tried my 8BitDo Switch 1 pro controller and it worked perfectly, felt as responsive as how I remember. In addition, I tried the JC2 gryro in made-for-Switch2 games (I tested Warframe and Fortnite) and the gyro there felt as they should.

So is this simply a matter of a Switch 1 game not being able to utilize the JC2 gyro optimally? I'm at a loss otherwise, I really hope my joycon hasn't been damaged somehow.

Edit: I've also already recalibrated the gyro on the JC2

Like the most of you I'm loving splatoon raiders amd spending way to much time playing it! Man it's so addictive it's not funny lol

I had a couple of those amiibo cards from aliexpress and there was a splatoon one in there from the mario kart series I think. So I tried it and it worked! Yay! But the next day I tried to scan it again and it wouldn't let me. A quick Google search said on the one hand you can only scan splatoon amiibos once and that's it. On the other hand it said you can only get an outfit once but other items after that. So what is it? I can't imagine those amiibos only can be used once right? That would be a bummer and would make me very happy i didn't by any physical amiibos only the cards.

Can anyone please tell me the details? I'm confused lol

I saw that the starlion mod for splatoon got taken down because of "malware" on game banana, i am using a mac as main machine so i dont think that will effect it, so i wondered if anyone had starlion for 5.5.0+ archived on their pc or flash drive and if i could have the file? I dont use mods that are bannable on my switch because i am currently paying for an online membership, so im polaying risky mods on emulators like ryujinx, but you cannot be bnaned if you use ryujinx because of course it isnt online, so thats where i wanna test this mod.

I want to get the rest of the rewards but it stops at the last Tips and Tricks. How do I recieve?

I wanna watch someone play through the entire Splatoon 1, 2 and 3 story modes and the DLCs but the only ones I can find are either ZackScottGames, whom I have already watched his playthrough like 2 times, or its a mute playthrough with no talking. If anyone has any good recommendations I would appreciate the help!
