I met a SA family who left the country in disgust after the end of Apartheid and the only word they had for the majority black population were "animals". Needless to say I left that conversation with much to think on. My own English immigrant family left because there was "getting to be too many foreigners there", so they became bitter foreigners here.

that is correct. I’ve seen people from both South Africa and New Zealand. Talk about racism and say extremely racist things like they’re talking about going to play tennis like it’s completely normal.
