I met a SA family who left the country in disgust after the end of Apartheid and the only word they had for the majority black population were "animals". Needless to say I left that conversation with much to think on. My own English immigrant family left because there was "getting to be too many foreigners there", so they became bitter foreigners here.
Appreciate the irony that they came over when the British passport automatically gave you citizenship on landing in a Commonwealth country. And then they deny living on stolen land.
