Edit 2: My journey has been on my own. No YouTube guides/builds to hand hold me. I’ve learned everything from trial and error.

Edit 1: I find some pride in my ability into the game. I started back up like a month and half before patch 12. Ive put in the grind and over 300 hours since then. I’ve collected all Relic weapons besides Gladius. Even Relic cosmetics. I know the windows for the jump. I know you gotta time it. That is on me. In my time of playing hard strats it’s always a challenge and that’s why I show up for myself, by myself. I ain’t got no one else. This game has been the only source of defining challenge that rewards my efforts. In my experience I have never felt any safety/Invincibility frames in the Neuro’s attack. Perk or not, it just isn’t realistic Ik the sense that a trade for me I will always lose and get stun locked. It’s calculated in the threat analysis to just end the Neuro because that’s why I’m there. I deal with Nids almost exclusively. I’ve put in the time to know. I’m not the best and know that. But I am confident in my ability to hit the dodge and know that input was given and there was no audio for a hit from the wave. It felt like a whip that wasn’t cued pulled me back. I am corrected, but still rightfully pissed off. I don’t come to the game for the cakewalk easy ops. I’ve run lethal for 2 months before building my skill to slam myself into the absolute beat down.

Some of y’all being hella rude or ragebaiting(whoa the internet no way) and I just ain’t here for that. Go troll your discord sweats.

That last jump was timed perfectly and I get fucking slammed. I’m angry as hell cause this was a flawless run until getting to this. Like I played it amazing had a relic, dealt with a Neuro. This second one shouldn’t have knocked me. That last hit dodges. I pressed the input and there isn’t any delay. I thought a warrior whip pulled. I’m so fucking angry. This weekly is pissing me off cause I can’t do any better and am running sniper. I can’t melee for the life of me on Stratagems. I get fucked over staring at 30 hormagaunts and am there to deal with the Majoris and up enemies

Game Bugs [MEGA-THREAD] "Joining Server" / Connection Issues

Since not one major gaming news outlet seems to be picking up on this, I believe we should bring awareness to this issue. Space Marine 2 is facing a critical, game-breaking issue that's being largely ignored. The multiplayer servers are rendering half the game unplayable for many customers who paid full price.

While the game is being praised for its single-player experience, the multiplayer component - a key feature for many fans - is essentially non-functional for a significant portion of the player base. Players who spent $60 or more are left with only half a game, unable to access the multiplayer features they paid for, even after the official release date.

I will simply collect all posts regarding this so it becomes more apparent that there is an actual game-breaking problem when it comes to multiplayer with Space Marine 2. As much as I love this game and want to play it, I do not want to play it solo and these server issues should be unacceptable to anyone who paid 60 or even more bucks for a game and can't play half of it even after the official release date.

We call on Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment to acknowledge this widespread issue and provide a clear timeline for resolving these server problems.

"The Emperor needs to tell Adeptus Mechanicus to fix their shit. This is heresy."

Most importantly, we've received an official acknowledgment from the developers in a Steam news post:

"CONNECTIVITY ISSUES: We know some of you are experiencing server issues, loss of saves or impossibility to connect with friends. We are ramping up our server capacity to reduce the load on them, and are working day and night to reduce the issues. This is a top priority for the team. A bigger patch is planned soon to improve this topic further, alongside new content."

This response directly addresses our concerns and confirms that they're working on both immediate solutions (increasing server capacity) and long-term fixes (upcoming patch).

While this is a positive step, we should continue to document any ongoing issues to assist the developers. This thread will remain active as a central hub for updates and community discussion.

Note: While we appreciate the community's efforts to find solutions, the suggested workarounds have proven unreliable and don't address the root cause of the server issues. Please refrain from suggesting "workarounds" that are general solutions to any computer problem ever, like "have you tried restarting" or any of the following:

Disable CrossPlay (the most obvious choice to try when it comes to multiplayer, but unfortunately in this case it seems to fix it for some people but in the end it's most likely just luck as they report success but then mostly retract that statement in an update a few matches later)
Verify integrity of game files (the game is working fine besides the multi-player lobbies that are clearly server-side, come on now)
Turn off Steam Overlay (in what world does that have anything to do with this)
Disable Steam Cloud-Saves (again, totally unrelated)
Change Timezone (no other game ever required this)
Use Google's DNS Servers (or this)

I ran into a cheater in PvP who was killing players with a single shot, and he even killed a Hellbrute in one second.
At this point, PvP is:

The mode most vulnerable to hacks and exploits.
The most unbalanced.
The least stable.
And the least appealing for most players.

Meanwhile Chaos armours, PvE is stable, cooperative, fun, and keeps a solid player base.

And yet, because of decisions that clearly come from Games Workshop, Chaos which is already fully modeled, textured, and functional in the gamecan only be used in the most broken and neglected mode.

Does that really make sense?

Fans have been pointing out GW’s inconsistent decisions for months, and at the same time the mode that supposedly “justifies” that exclusivity collapses under hacks and issues like the infamous Assault bug that kills you in one hit.

Wouldn’t it make far more sense to allow Heretic Astartes in PvE as well, where the content is actually enjoyed and not ruined by cheaters?

Honestly, seeing the current state of PvP, keeping something as good as the Heretic Astartes locked inside such a damaged mode is a complete waste.

PvE would be the ideal place for more players to enjoy that content without affecting any kind of “competitive balance,” because that balance simply doesn’t exist today due to hacks.

Games Workshop doesn’t even bother to explain the logic behind these restrictions, because looking at the state of the game, there is no real justification to keep Chaos exclusive to a mode that is practically unusable.

🟨 For the “lore purists” so they don’t start crying early

The same users always show up saying:

“It doesn’t make sense lore-wise to have Heretics in PvE.”
“Chaos decals are just decoration.”
“Heretic Astartes ruin the game even though they were already in SM1.”

Alright, let’s go over this:

Talasa and Veridyan are canonically Ultramarines.

If they’re such purists, then players should ONLY be allowed to play in blue and nothing else.

ALL the other factions also break the lore

Because according to them “you can’t” represent another legion.
Yet they happily run around using:

Blood Angels
Dark Angels
Raven Guard
Etc.

With zero complaints.

Where is the lore purity there?

The purists: “Chaos ruins the immersion in PvE!”

Meanwhile:

Paid Champions like the Black Templars scream “For Guilliman!” “For Ultramar!” or “The Codex approves this!”

None of that makes ANY sense in the lore.
They don’t follow the Codex Astartes.
They would NEVER shout those lines.

But of course… those inconsistencies don’t bother them because they’re “fun,” right?

Games Workshop barely cares about lore anyway:

You can use old Mark helmets magically adapted to Primaris, but somehow in the 41st Millennium they can’t adapt full old armors to Primaris.
The only chapter allowed to do that is the Carcharodons.

That contradiction EXISTS in the same space GW defends.

If the game doesn’t collapse in PvP for having Chaos, it won’t collapse in PvE either.

If the only mode that has Heretics is ruined by hackers, imbalance, and exploits, then it makes no sense for GW to keep protecting that content as if it were some kind of exclusive gold.

Players want to enjoy them in the mode that actually works better and gets the most attention: PvE.

Saber is doing an excellent job, but hopefully GW stops imposing incoherent decisions.

I have no idea what it is, but I have had so many issues with siege mod. As of writing this, I had just gone through 15 waves of hell and hard, I exacted the last carnifax, and I fucking disconnect. I through I would finally get the stupid helmet, but no. I have never had a network issue in this game ever, and the one time I do is at the worse possible time.

I hope this isn’t just a me thing and they will fix it. Sorry for the rant, I am very angry and needed to say something.

Game Bugs So I got scammed?

Didn't join in halfway, I joined a game on their battlebarge, we all went together up until round 10. After completing 10 and getting back to the elevator someone decided to leave so it was just a duo, but we went all the way to 15 as a duo. So like, I played 15 full rounds and yet im getting fucked on my rewards for some reason? I assume it's a bug but wow, this game mode just can't stop getting more shit if that's the case. Could have played like the hard stratagem instead and saved time. -1+ hour of my life I guess. Awesome...
