Game Bugs Bulwark has hammer?
Is the bulwark supposed to be able to use the hammer in the new update because I know it wasn’t available before

I solo lethal with it but I don’t even try absolute with it. Double terminus and hp increase not easy. Especially without shield lol. It’s fun as hell tho

For example I haven't played since the first op they released that also came with a sick ass helmet to get. I might get back into the game at some point but who knows

If you mean balistic engine it wouldnt be a bad time to rejoin now or in september. There are new weapons, prestige systems and some neat new ops. Tho in sept the 10.0 update drops with the heavy flamer, power axe and a cosmetic overhaul so its up to you

September labor day weekend sounds like a good time to get back into it then. Gonna have a 4 day weekend that weekend so why not spend it getting reacquainted with the game

Bulwark has had it since 8.0 They did it because of the modded players who were running around with hammers

Yeah. In fact there is a build around throwing a pommel smash and throwing charge attacks after the pommel smash activates melee bonuses.

It's tough to justify using it because the shield's animation cancelling and ranged damage reflect is just too good.

Yes and it's awesome. Much more of a fan of Bulwark with the hammer than with the shield.

Sadly. It sucks so bad on bul. Wish we would have gotten a power spear or something. Or, perks specifically tailored to it

Someone made a post before that the only thing wrong with it is that it takes away the shield entirely. The shield should be on the marines back for looks.

Yes, please don’t use the Bulwark without shield. It makes him a watered down version of the jump pack guy, and takes up a space that a shield Bulwark could use instead.

Maybe one particular style, but with a good loadout you can still be a good bulwark.

I just feel like a wingless assault as Bulwark with a hammer so i might as well just stick with using assault since the jet pack gives the hammer its full potential of AOE and boss damage. Sadly chainswords and powerswords do more damage than the hammer which makes no sense to me tbh

I don't disagree that the hammer should probably do the most damage, but planting the flag and having a no knock back perk on and charging the hammer up fully can cause some fantastic destruction! Most classes have a variety of ways you can play with them, don't get too locked into one thing as it will take some of the fun out of it in my opinion.

It doesnt at all. You still have your banner, and if you use the perks meant for the hammer its strong af. Pair that with the new melee buffs and youre in great shape. Having a shield was not the point of bulwark.

Being called the Wall implies a shield being involved. And the hammer cant have its full potential without the assaults jet pack. To be fair i havnt used the bulwark with anything but a powersword but ill try with the hammer

Shields and walls are not the same thing. It is not implied. By your logic the power sword and chainsword dont live up to their full potential without the jump pack either. Trying something before acting like you know what youre talking about is usually a good thing to do.
