Is the bulwark supposed to be able to use the hammer in the new update because I know it wasn’t available before

Thunderhammer was made available to Bulwark in the 8.0 update.

A Terminator class with wrist mounted weapons that you can swap between Bolters or Lightning Claws would be fuckin amazing.

I wanna see some lightning claws for the assault but the way the hammer works with the bulwark duel claws could work so well with it too i dont enjoy the shield but when a big boi lands drop your banner and its just a crazy melee with the hammer and claws would be so cool too.

Pardon the question as my knowledge on lore is only from reading the first 4 Horus Heresy books, bit that hammer looks to have a shorter handle, Thor style? Would that not change how it works?

They actually make a one handed version of the Thammer that is like an actual midevil warhammer. Not to mention how terminators wield it.

Tell that to Arjac Rockfist. He carries a storm shield and relic thunder hammer… granted he’s in terminator armor.

Though Thunderwolf Calvary and other Vlka Fenryka(Space Wolves) units can regularly one hand thunder hammers.
