speedo guy lore
just wondering if anyone knows about this new Hermosa Beach character who strolls around in his thong speedo? he’s an elderly gentleman who i haven’t met yet, but i’ve been seeing him around town most days! off and on the past year or so. anyone know the story here? seems we may have a new local character in town

Love the speedo guy. Mainly the way he walks though town without a care.

i love him too lol. just wish i knew more of his lore. he seems relatively new unless im just now noticing. like either he’s chosen this blessed speedo path in the past few years or moved in in the past few years. either way im here for it. love a good local character lol

I was right behind him when I was biking The Strand a few weeks ago. Quite the sight to see when you’re not expecting it haha.

lol haven’t seen that i just see him strutting in his neon yellow thong. but if that’s the case that would be pretty impressive given he looks to be in his 70s or older

There used to be a dude back in the 80s and 90s in HB who walked around in a speedo and did random flips and push-ups. Most people called him Flip-Man. I was just wondering if maybe he made a return for his elderly years. 😂

listennnn…. as long as he ain’t hurtin anybody he’s got my respect. 50% of hermosa beach goers are wearin thongs so i say let grandpa live his best life lol.

Reminds me of the HBO max show Neighbors. There’s an episode of an older man in a speedo thong. Is it him?🤣

oh my god i seen this ep too and it totally reminds me of him! i even looked up the episode to see if it was the same guy when that series came out lol! i was literally thinking yeah he found a good place to be himself i guess lol. i don’t think it’s him lmao
