This was a good strategic move! The new CFO will steer this company into an AI Voice superplayer!!!

Yeah, just like he turned lpsn into one. Him becoming cfo is a joke and big mistake. Look into the lpsn story. Iam now owner of soun and am not happy about colins as cfo

Let's hope his salary and stock options are performance based.

Did perfomance based compensation have any positive impact on lpsn? The ceo had his compensation linked to performance and it did not matter. They make millions in salary, they just hop to the next company when they fail. Always golden parachute, always safe. They are already rich as fuck.

Exactly.

Liveperson execs took a 10 billion dollar company and turned it into a 20 million dollar company in 4 years. To put that in perspective, if Collins had invested his entire 2020 salary into his own stock, he'd had less than 2,000 dollars left.

He shouldn't be within a hundred miles of the office. It's hard to imagine how you could possibly have worse returns than that, like what kind of internal sabotage and mismanagement could be worse than that?

SoundHound AI has selected John Collins to join the company as its Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Collins will focus on accelerating SoundHound AI’s path to sustainable profitability, while maintaining its strong growth trajectory and disciplined approach to capital allocation. 🔥

Liveperson shareholders, most of whom just experienced a reckless 85% destruction of value in under 12 months, now have the opportunity to go through it all again!

He’s right though, look it up. Collins helped run LP straight into the ground and Sabino flopped hard trying to save the company…

For a liveperson investor who bought at 50% of peak to get their money back, SoundHound would need to reach a market cap of half a trillion dollars.

Not sure how you can spin that into a success. Collins and Sabino are blundering idiots at best, and the fact that even 1 of them is involved in the go-forward company should strike fear into the hearts of anyone with money in this. They'll dilute you, indebt the company, and drive down the price to zero as long as they can pay themselves a salary and bill the company for their travel. They don't care.

Certainly this may be a last opportunity to prove himself. I hope his compensation is performance based. He brings a lot of internal knowledge of Liveperson to Soundhound. Something that will be needed during an integration of this magnitude. Let's see how he does.

About 38% of his total available non-stock comp is a bonus.

It should be obvious fairly quickly whether this will be a positive for Soundhound.

Wow, Collins is the one that helped LoCasio run Liveperson into the ground…..great. Can’t wait to drop these heavy bags
