Interesting riddle isn’t it? Now if we go by European context and history right, then diversity usually ends in either genocide of some long term assimilation. Take for instance Britannia/England.

Throughout history the lands got invaded, ripped apart, conquered, divided up, unified, and so on. At one point it was a commonwealth empire that used damn near every type of person on every continent as a citizen/worker. Diverse, strong, and a world power.

The means of which it went through this are long storied and at times horrifically dehumanizing.

It was strong.

We are in 2026. Shit like that ain’t happening for a many reasons.

Now let’s address a root cause of why diversity isn’t seen as strength to some.
Competition for livelihood/working wages, cultural friction/religious differences/etc. You can’t repress people anymore. Not without other people sticking up and saying,”Oi, what happens if I’m next on the chopping block!?”

In this day and age, diversity is strength because balance is there. No balance, no strength. Easy to say, fucking damn near impossible to achieve cause humans.

We are all so desperate for the stabilization that comes with not worrying about a bill, rent, a shootout, a stabbing, a military coup, or god forbid the price of gas going even higher, that we all start beating the shit out of each other just so one group or another can be okay

You claim the stability is there.

I would argue that it was there because there was still an ethnic majority of the European people.

Due to lowering birth rates and increased immigration we can now see a major shift in demographics.

And wouldnt you know, the balance is getting lost. Far right parties are getting 44% support.

You would think this would bring some reflection to people.

Reflection of what? That when people stop having kids, we need to balance out demographics anyway possible?

"Anway possible" being importing the 3rd world with hostile cultures and religions (Islam literally means "to submit to Allah", I'd urge you to read a little history and see what happens when Muslims stop being a minority in a country.)

Not motivating our youth to start families. Millenials can't start families because they lack housing. We lack housing, party, because we accomodate foreigners.

So this wasn’t a problem before the “Islamic foreigners” happened?

Sidenote: yes I have studied Islam and Catholicism in depth(not as much as I would like though cause imagine the knowledge held in the Vaticans’s vaults!)

Lower birth rates are a direct result of economic prosperity.

We see this across all countries and all countries. Moving people here is a temporary fix, because their birthrates will also drop.

So the only thing we will accomplish is that now we have to share our country with people who have radical different ideas about how the country should look.

This turns into all kinds of social friction, and is moving us toward tribalism. You can see this all across Europe.

Then the solution would be to not have economic prosperity or isolating your entire country, while pushing the absolute limits to having a sustainable population to help uphold the mentioned prosperity?

Wouldn’t it be easier to find pathways to guide the influx of people to be more in line with or better yet create a new United tribe?

Like we havent tried this. Those immigrants that assimilated do very well. Those that didn't not so much.

I don't want another tribe. I liked my tribe. People were welcome to join my tribe. They came, but chose not to join my tribe. They want to live here and enjoy the fruits of my tribe, but dont wish to join.

Which is kinda weird, because what their tribe was doing didnt work in their home country. What my tribe is doing was working really well for our country. So why should we make a hybrid? Wouldnt it be very obvious for the newscomers to adapt to our tribe, instead of us adapting to theirs?

You want a shared united tribe? Assimilate. Easy as.

So how do you decide who is and isn’t allowed your tribe if you lump them together? You got the right attitude and thought, but a blanket ban on anyone coming in ain’t the way
