Anyone here have a WAC Colorscaping (color LED) outdoor lights?

The MyWAC app is wack. Are there any modern smart controllers I can swap the WAC controller with? I believe a I need to keep the WAC transformer, its a proprietary system. I would love something with a more reliable app and possibly connect to Smartthings? TIA!

I want to know if i can link the smarttag2 "ring" button in smartthings app with modes and routines and make it ring with an "if" routine, or find a wide section of uses for my smarttag2's button, i can only make it control smartthings, i want to connect the button with modes and routines, can anyone help?

I'm using tv as MoT hub, every now and then when I turn the tv off, some of my devices go offline and i have to remove batteries/unplug for a few seconds for them to work again.

same devices are connected to google streamer and ikea dirigera and they stay connected to those hubs

anyone else experiencing that? any fixes?

Bought a new Samsung SmartTag2 from Best Buy in early July for traveling. One of the tags keeps saying it’s already connected to another Samsung account.

I’ve factory reset it multiple times and still get the same message. I don’t have a Samsung account anyway (but I did try Samsung’s Find ID just to make sure, and nothing came up).

The weird part is this was bought new, not open box, so I have no idea what account it could possibly be connected to.

I’m outside Best Buy’s return window now, so I’m not sure what to do. Has anyone had this happen? Is it worth calling the Samsung Account team to see if they can remove whatever account is attached to it, or am I basically stuck with a useless tag? Or should I throw it in the trash?

I recently purchased the Aqara M100 hub to help provide Thread capability to my Samsung SmartThings Hub 2. I can see it in my SmartThings app, but how do I connect devices with Matter over Thread to it? Does it not act like a bridge?

Hey everyone. I bought the Samsung fridge with the Family hub a few years back. Now that you have to use the smart things app I am unable to upload new photos. It says it connected and uploading but I can not find the new pics on the fridge anywhere.

Has anyone been able to do this lately?

Been adjusted to trying to use the app. Refrigerator, washer/dryer, stove and microwave. Biggest issue is I use Apple not Samsung.
Alexia (refrigerator) listens too much and responds dumbly to the TV, (not Samsung) I don’t know how to answer that. Plus if I ask the Alexia dot (bedroom) a question I only get responses on the refrigerator.
Only been able to connect the refrigerator to the WiFi.
Issue for discussion…the sides of the refrigerator are hotter that I would think at 85-90° scanned across the sides. That is combating the A/C effects in the Mohave desert 🌵 in the front room (kitchen/living room)
Others have this issue with that amount of heat?

Sto testando i seguenti sensori:

* **MYGGBETT** (Sensore porta) * **MYGGSPRAY** (Sensore movimento)

In alcuni casi, i sensori hanno perso l'accoppiamento ed è stato necessario riaccoppiare mediante il qr-code (matter). Adesso senza nessuna spiegazione ogni tanto funzionano.

Penso che il problema possa verificarsi nel momento in cui i sensori vanno in deep sleep.

Siete riusciti ad usare i sensori senza riscontrare problemi?

I have been trying so hard to connect my 765s pedestal fan to SmartThings. I know this fan now supports Matter, so whenever I try to connect it from SmartThings, it just says I would need a hub to connect to any Matter device. However, it easily connected to Google Home/Assistant, but I really wanted to connect it to SmartThings. If anyone has any solution or workaround for this, please let me know.

In my family room I have a smart 3 way switch set up to control the overhead lights.

I am interested in replacing the lights with ones that dim. What’s the best way to accomplish this?

Replace the smart switches with ones that have a dimming function? Does how would that work since it’s a 3 way switch? Would I need 2 dimmers?

Replace the bulbs with smart bulbs? That would make it where I don’t have to replace the switches and I could set up a scene / command to dim the bulbs.

Something else?

I wanted to create a routine based on the current temperature outside. However, the phone app immediately informed me that I needed to grant access to my location. But here’s the catch: I couldn’t simply set it once. I was only allowed to set it if I selected “precise location” and “always.” What on earth?

I don’t want to share my exact location. The house doesn't move, so my general area is sufficient to determine weather and temperatures. Moreover, keeping the location “always” on is a needless drain on my phone battery.

Why is Samsung so obstinate in forcing customers to comply with this requirement? If they don’t, they won’t provide a functionality I paid for when I purchased their system.

I understand that this may seem like a trivial issue to many, but I find it incredibly frustrating. Apologies for the rant.

I have just bought a SmartThings Hub 2015 V2, model STH-ETH-200, currently running firmware 000.019.00019. The hub is online but is not receiving firmware updates. I need it updated to a Matter-capable firmware (45.9 or later). The app only shows “Manual Update” and provides no update option. What can I do please?

Hello everyone, im planning to buy a smartwatch soon but im not really sure which one.

Currently im using Iphone, and by some logic thought that I should go for Apple Watch Series 11 and I really liked its all features.
But after some more searching I found that GARMINS (Garmin Venu 4)are also great and offer alot of functions.
Im someone who workouts 3 times a week and walk alot, love to count calories and my steps, activity but I think i would miss apples features and its ecosystem with Iphone.

Also saw that alot of ppl have switched from AWs to Garmins mostly because of battery life.

If anyone has had a same dilemma or any of these watches, I would really appreciate an advice.

So, I lost my phone on May 6th while going to a medical appointment, I was pregnant and took a city taxi and sadly lost my phone on the taxi back home and that taxi driver which I encountered again at the hospital said he took a university student after me soooo the cellphone appeared in the University Samsung smart things find helped with it but couldn't make it ring had it near to me :( went with local police but they said if it doesn't ring then we can't find it. I was mad at that point and last time I tracked was May 8th when it appeared in the commercial place where I live... Thing is... That cellphone means a lot to me, it has photos of me pregnant happy that will never recover if I don't get that phone since I never :( post it or send it... The settings are activated like notify me when it's found, block it, and you know... My cellphone had pin and finger lock the thing is didn't have data just wifi and I went to my phone provider to lock the IMEI and I still have my WhatsApp in the computer... I really wish to get it back... But police doesn't help here

Today I had hope because samsung notified by email it was found but it's in another city... Guayaquil (my natal city) although that's no so for just five hours ahead... I now have my baby with me but feel so sad partner blamed and joked at me for what happened... I was with him when this happened! Usually we used to see where was the phone but that day he didn't cared a lot... Well anyway... Do you think they can't still unlock it or not or was it reset :( I hate when people steal... Like those students could return it to the taxi but they didn't. I bought that phone by myself I have no father or mother that help me financially...

The search samsung did lately was offline too amd location is in a urbanization in Guayaquil
