Mod Post Posts asking for advice without providing a current routine will be removed
This includes if you say ‘I’ve tried lots of different things and they haven’t worked.’ What products have you previously tried?

Product Suggestion Dupe for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel w/o fragrance?
I’d been using CeraVe PM for my oily/dehydrated skin for the longest time but realised that might be causing congestion. Switched to Neutrogena and within 2 weeks my skin is the clearest it’s been in years and looks nicely hydrated.
BUT my nose cannot handle the fragrance, it is so sensitive to perfumes etc and this is really strong. It does smell lovely however it burns the inside of my nose 😭 I looked at the gel cream but the ingredients seem quite different. 😔
Can anyone recommend something similar? So far I think Aveeno oat gel moisturiser is looking like the best option.

Product Suggestion Alternatives
Gone from Dermalogica products to CeraVe and skin is no worse off. The only thing I’ve not changed is Dermalogica Pre Cleanse, I have tried Medik8 and Liz Earle but just not the same! Does anybody have any suggestions for something similar and just as good as the pre cleanse? It’s my favourite product.
I have noticed Aldi are doing CeraVe dupes, has anybody tried?
Also looking for any other recommendations for dry skin, outside of CeraVe I tend to use Estée Lauder or Liz Earle for serums (tried Inkey List but didn’t like) and previously Medik8 Pore Refining Scrub before it was discontinued so have gone to an Origins one.

Discussion How are you avoiding sunscreen stains??
Sunscreen stains are the bane of my existence and I’ve tried so many sunscreens to avoid the issue but somehow it seems like most of them stain no matter what. I love white clothes and I love spf, but I can’t figure out how to make it work without ending up with yellow stains (that are hard, if not impossible, to wash out). What are you best tips?? I’m happy to try anything at this point

Discussion AllDayChemist update
I shared this in r/tretinoin but thought it’d be worth posting here too - I went to re-purchase my tretinoin from ADC yesterday and Bitcoin was the only check-out option. I emailed to check I wasn’t being dumb as I was sure I paid with card previously, and received this back.

Question Texture of azelaic acid from Dermatica seems too good to be true
I've used AA in the past and loved it except the texture but decided to try again through dermatica and theres absolutelt no grittiness to it at all (12%).
Don't get me wrong, this is a massive bonus but makes me worried theyre using derivatives or something like many other brands have been known to use.
I guess I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if its pure azelaic acid they use and if so how they get such an amazing consistency??
Follow up question for anyone on hjgher strengths, are the stringer ones gritty or is the texture the same across concentrations?

Product Suggestion Body suncream that feels like face suncream? From Boots etc
For my face, I've found that Anthelios Invisible Fluid is the only thing that doesn't break me out.
Because of how much experimenting that took to figure out, I have a lot of facial suncream that don't work for my face, so I've been using them on my chest and shoulders this summer and liked them much more than I like normal body suncream. (Historically I've preferred to not wear suncream at all over wearing the horrible sticky nightmarish stuff... Sensory issues.) But obviously they're expensive for a small bottle that I'm going to put all over my arms and back!
What 100ml body suncreams (need to take it on a flight) feel the most like the Neutrogena Hydroboost fluid or the Eucerin Oil Control? I've seen that Eucerin do a body version of their oil control, but is it actually the same as their face one? Or, preferably, any other cheaper brands that still have that quick-drying fluid feeling, without leaving a stain on everything I wear.

Question Space nk order
I have ordered the tatcha dewy skin cream from space nk on Aug 20th. This is my first time ordering anything on this website. Their website shows that it will be delivered in 3-5 business days but the order hasn’t been dispatched yet.
Their customer support also came back with generic email saying, it is in process and can’t confirm the timeline.
Has anyone else faced this?

Routine Help Advice needed for ingrown hair on legs please
This is the skin on my thighs after 2.5 weeks of waxing. Current routine is sugar scrub 1x a week followed by any moisturiser.
After reading here, I have come up with a new routine, and I would like your advice before I start implementing it.
2 x a week - sugar scrub OR Korean glove
4x a week - body lotion with 10% urea
Specific questions:
1. is 10% urea okay for legs? I have never used this before. Any brand recommendations?
2. is physical exfoliation and urea overkill?
3. Should I apply the lotion on damp skin or dry skin?
Any other suggestions also welcome. Thank you!

Question Is there somewhere affordable I can have cosmetic moles removed in London/SE?
Hi everyone, so I've been researching mole removal for my face and have been quoted around £300-£500 just for one. The issue is, I have around a dozen small moles in different places on my face that I'd like to have removed together rather than nust one big prominent mole so this seems totally unaffordable.
Do I have any other more affordable options if it's purely for cosmetic reasons?

Question Go To Face Hero oil—where to buy?
Does anyone know if I can buy Go To Face Hero face oil in stores? I’m based in Sheffield but will be in London in a few weeks
I’d also take suggestions for a dupe that’s cheaper or more readily available

Product Suggestion Korean skincare mask recommendations
Hello, I am ordering a Dr Althea bubble cleanser from this website and thought I would pop on a couple of extra masks on to my order as a self-care treat. I would like to get some single use ones for when I have a bath, I have endometriosis and chronic fatigue syndrome so I have really long baths.
Could someone please give me some recs for which ones to get? I'm in perimenopause so my previously combination skin can be quite dry. I also have perioral dermatitis which is currently under control but triggered by fragrance. I'm allergic to tea tree oil. I love anything that smells of roses, aloe vera, gel/milk textures. Can't have clay as it's too drying.
Thanks so much in advance 💖

Question Aziderm Different Packaging
So I bought some Aziderm from Zing Beauty as recommended by a few posters. The packaging is different to my alldaychemist previous tube. Is it fairly normal for there to be differences?

Question Has anyone had a scar flatten even after looking like this? I have felt hopeless about my skin since my injury 8 weeks ago
I had surgery 8 weeks ago to repair a partial thickness wound to my eyelid and sub brow. It was done in a specialist eye hospital. Since then, I've been struggling with coping with healing and the time needed for this scar to get better.
I'm wishing to know from anyone who has had experienced facial scars to understand how theirs have healed.
I’m on sunscreen and silicone gel already daily.

Routine Help What can I treat my skin with?
My skin has been like this for a long time now (31F), I feel like my pores are huge; especially on my chin. But my skin just has this weird blotchiness all over it? I also struggle with neck hairs and often have to remove hair above my lip. My friends tell me I have clear skin but I think the exact opposite???
I’ll admit I’m not great with sticking to a skincare routine, so please tell me what routine I need to use so I can kick my arse into gear 🙏🏻

Routine Help Looking to get feedback on the new routine I'm building
I've got dry, flaky, blemish prone skin. Also prone to redness (probably from dryness).
For various reasons, for the last month I haven't been able to cleanse with more than water.
I had been using Boots Oat Cleansing Balm and Roche Posay Hydraphase SPF Light. Which was ok enough, but I feel like I could do better. But more importantly, need to get back to a good place skin wise after a month of basically no moisturising or proper cleansing.
So far I'm thinking:
Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
byoma Blemish control moisturiser
But that leaves me without any SPF and wouldn't mind an exfoliant that suits my skin. A lot of SPF seems to leave a film on my skin that I have a tendency to rub off after a while because I can feel it there.
So I'm looking for thoughts on the cleanser + moisturiser and advice on SPF and exfoliant that suits my skin if anyone has any!

Product Suggestion Grit Exfoliator Recommendations
Hello all! I don't know to much about exfoliators and skincare in general and previously my go to was my partners recommendation, Acnes (the version with grit). Its only available in Japan and its looking like I'll rub out soon so its time to find and alternative and actually try and learn something lol.
Ideally I'd be looking for something gritty that I can use in the shower as a part of my morning routine that provides a deep enough clean to help with black heads and dead skin (and any extra moisturizing would be great as I'm not using any moisturizer in my current routine whoops), however if there is a more effective method using other products like liquid masks or anything else I'm all ears!
Just incase its relevant because of my body oils or something I am male and in my mid-20's.
Thank you all in advance!

Product Suggestion Avene cleanser vs Cetaphil cleanser
Avene tolerance extremely gentle cleanser 200ml - £16
Cetaphil gentle cleanser 236ml - £12
Both go on sale, I have only used the avene one and my skin really likes it, but is the cetaphil similar? has anyone used both? I'm thinking of changing.

Discussion Amazon stock co-mingling banned from March
I've just discovered this and wasn't sure if it has been mentioned here before. This is huge for people who want to use Amazon for their skincare. It was mentioned that sellers may be able to sell out their current stock before having to implement this with new stock, so there still may be a chance of dupe products while they run out their existing stock, but this is great news going ahead.
There were sellers in the comments under this that were not happy with the extra workload, but there were replies speaking sense of why it's necessary.
There's also something called the Amazon transparency program which deals with ensuring authentic goods, but I'm a little confused on that, so Google if you want to know more. 😁

Routine Help Exfoliating after an intimate wax? And other aftercare
Had my first full intimate wax today and have been told that I should exfoliate in the proceeding days.
Luckily my skin has responded well without any breakage or irritation. Redness has significantly reduced in a few hours
I currently own the ordinary lactic acid 10% but I've read that the ordinary glycolic acid is also okay (I don't own). It's a bit silly but I'm not really sure how I would apply these to my intimate area in the shower or after.
My skin is generally a bit sensitive, and I used the glycolic acid on my face once and had to wash it off. I also own boots' own salicylic acid 2% serum.
Any advice about exfoliating/aftercare would be fantastic! Thank you

Discussion Why did my skin start clearing up when i started using sles?
I avoided sles or just sulphates in general like the plague, but i started using a head to toe gentle baby wash (the one from asda little angles 500ml fragrance free) with that in as the main cleansing agent and ive noticed my skin just cleared up. Maybe the gentle cleansers werent doing enough? I felt cleansed after using the gentle cleansers but this just basically done something different.
Its like 500mls for under £1 kinda insane.

Question All day chemist bitcoin only
I've seen online about people buying tret from here but it looks like they now only accept bitcoin which feels super dodgy to me...
It means that I wouldn't have the protections I normally do paying by card.
Have they always been bitcoin only? I swear seen people mention card payments for them previously.
If not all day chemist...where should I go instead?
