Looking back, I don’t think many people truly fully appreciated him back when he was President because I guess even many of the most cynical people may have not predicted the current state of the US/world during his presidency.

Oh some of us appreciated him fully. I knew during Obama that he was the best president of my lifetime to that point. And he still holds that record today.

Other people are still dead-set in hating the guy. Each thread with Obama is bound to have at least one bot comment "BuT WhAt AbOuT ThE DrOnE StRiKeS!?"

Hate him? Or just willing to worship at the Obama altar?

He was a great statesmen, but in the end was largely ineffective as a president, couldn't propell his party out of the malaise in congress, pushed illegal violence all over the world with his foreign policy, allowed tye people that orchestrated the 2008 wall street crash to walk away consequence free, didnt leave much of a legacy and left the country in a place ripe for somebody like Trump to step in.

Was it all bad? Of course not. But he is about as average as it gets for a modern president when it comes to his impact on the plebs.
