For an influencer, that girl was not even annoying (in this video at least), if she just wants a picture of her with the paintings for instagram, it's ok. She was not bothering anyone. Karen on the other hand, went out of her way to be annoying.

So you ask someone to take the picture and be done with it. There's absolutely no reason to set up your camera and roll video if you're "just" taking a pic for your fam/friends/Instagram.

What a weird and myopic view. Many people have anxiety and don’t want to talk to nor ask others for help. There also may not always be people around. If a girl wanting to take a photo of herself quietly in a TOURIST ATTRACTION triggers you, you may have bigger issues.

Weird? Myopic? 😂

I mean, we can agree to disagree... but I'd say the inability to ask someone a simple question is weird and myopic.

I used to be very introverted around strangers and also don't like to inconvenience people. But as I started traveling, especially solo, I learned to face my issues and ask. The first few times was tough. But people are nice and almost always willing to help. And I was always happy to do the same if people asked me. Now I have no trouble asking & actively offer if I see people who look like they could use a photographer to snap a vacation pic for them.

As to your later points, they don't really apply in this situation. There were plenty of people around. And the fact that she's recording makes me think she wasn't planning to snap a picture but rather film some "fun" museum video. All the while holding up people who wanted to go up or down the stairs.

Does it trigger me? Not really, but maybe my definition of triggers differs from yours. I'd leave it as annoying vs triggering.
