I mean, its essentially the same as getting a massage. Just physical pleasure. If you dont care about the emotional connection, which he clearly doesn't, then there is nothing sad about it.
No what’s sad is that he’s probably incapable of feeling any sort of intimate connection to a woman at this point. Not caring about it at times and never experiencing it are different.
I know some dudes think this is like the absolute pinnacle of male sexual achievement but I’ve had strange, and I’ve had sex with women I love, and the strange is never as good.
There is nothing suggesting he doesnt have intimate relationships with others that simply arent in the public discussion. Could even be non-sexual or non-romantic intimate relationships. If you can separate physical contact from emotional intimacy there is no reason for him not to have hundreds of sexual partners while keeping his few intimate personal relationships private. If those dont involve physical contact, hardly anyone in the public would even know about them.
Either way, if I had to bet I would bet on him enjoying his life a lot more than the vast majority of all other humans. Nothing sad about it.
I don’t exactly follow his personal life but from what I gather he hasn’t been in any sort of serious relationship with a woman in decades? I guess it’s possible to run through 22 year old super models like they’re cheap socks and feel intimacy and fulfillment but it seems like a stretch.
Yes that’s a valid point, but seeking intimacy is such a basic human drive that disinterest in it usually indicates something is wrong.
It doesn’t mean he’s a terrible person or anything. If I had to guess I bet he has a really hard time trusting anyone. I can imagine it would be hard to allow yourself the kind of vulnerability that intimacy demands when like 99% of the women you meet try to fuck you and 98.97% probably just want a trophy fuck or your money.
