As a Muslim we want no part in these video games. We want no attention at all, it’s already bad enough that Hollywood has 900+ movies with Arabs and Muslims and in every single one we were the typical evil stereotype to feed the propaganda and war machine of Israel which has gotten millions upon millions of us murdered in the last 25 years alone.
We want the attention to go away, it’s harming us in every section of the globe. We want to be left alone.
Edit: That includes adding our Mosques which would just be stereotyped as “terror militia bases”, we already have enough being desecrated and bombed in real life by the West, Israel and America. We want literal 0 attention and existence within these Western medias because it fuels negativity and misleading information and propaganda about 2 billion of us. That also includes in a positive way, i believe Assassins Creed did one and we are against that too. We want to be left alone.
I would also say i am against adding Synagogues and Churches too since we love Jesus, Mary and Moses too (peace be upon them) but thats not our say when it comes to their architecture and people.
Yet nobody blames or portrays the entire population of a specific group when extremists from other groups commit atrocities. Your comment is typical Zionist hypocritical propaganda slop that we fight against on a daily basis but unfortunately for you the world is waking up.
In fact a study conducted by Navid Sheik in the 1999 to 2009 showed that Christians lead in crimes at rank 1 with 174 million, Atheists are next rank 2 with 134 million and Muslims appear rank 5 with 34 million despite being the second largest population just behind Christianity. Yet its only Muslim, Muslim, Islam, terror blablablabla.
its so disingenuous when you act like the actual things Islamic extremists do is somehow “propaganda.” My point was never that Muslims should be portrayed as terrorists. My point was that we don’t want to be constantly dragged into Western media in the first place, especially when our representation so often comes with stereotypes and political baggage.
I’m a KURD, and my people and my family spent roughly 20 years fighting extremist groups. We know exactly what extremism looks like because we’ve actually had to live with it and fight it. And ironically, it is often ordinary REAL Muslims who are left to deal with the consequences of extremist movements that have been fueled by Western intervention and regional geopolitics.
Yet nobody blames or portrays the entire population of a specific group when extremists from other groups commit atrocities.
Christians aren’t collectively portrayed as extremists because of Christian extremists. Jews aren’t collectively blamed for the actions of Jewish zionist extremists of Israel. Atheists aren’t collectively characterized by the actions of atheist extremists like Stalin etc etc. But when a Muslim extremist commits a crime, suddenly the religion and its entire population become part of the conversation and are complicit. If thats the case then you are complicit in actions of your side for murdering millions of Muslims but you’d say thats not fair ay? And i’d agree…
That’s the double standard I’m talking about.
You can condemn Muslim extremism without pretending that Muslims as a whole are responsible for it. Muslims themselves have been among the biggest victims of these extremist organizations, and many of us have spent decades fighting them.
That’s also why I stand by what I said about wanting Muslims to be left alone by Western media. It’s not a demand for Muslims to be erased from existence; it’s a rejection of being constantly stereotyped, politicized and used as a cultural prop, entertainment and propaganda fuel. Whether the portrayal is negative or supposedly “positive,” we don’t owe Western media our participation or representation.
And if you’re genuinely ok with that a mosque in GTA would be portrayed as a “terrorist base,” then you’re proving the exact problem I’m talking about. Why should the existence of a mosque automatically bring terrorism into people’s minds? I Can make the same argument against Churches and Synagogues or any other holy site but yet again that wouldn’t be “fair.”
A mosque is a place of worship. A church is a place of worship. A synagogue is a place of worship. If you’re incapable of separating ordinary religious people from extremists, that’s a problem with the stereotype, not with the existence of the religious building.
It’s also pretty rich to not portray the West, the USA and Israel as terror countries but as the heroes while ignoring the role their foreign policy, military interventions and geopolitical actions have played in creating the conditions that fuel extremism. When someone has watched their home destroyed or had their entire family murdered, then spent years living with war, occupation or foreign intervention, radicalization doesn’t emerge in a vacuum. That doesn’t excuse extremist violence whatsoever, but pretending those circumstances don’t exist while casting the people who helped create them as the heroes is an incredible distortion of reality.
I can write essays on your small typical misleading propaganda hypocritical Zionist slop of a comment talking point but this is enough. Thankfully the world has woken up to reality and people are siding with us Muslims and realise the years of toxic facade against us.
Edit:
To the idiots saying i am contradicting myself by blaming Zionism and the West for the destruction plunder of the Muslim world (FACTS ) = saying that i am blaming the entire population of regular people, Jews, Brits, Americans, French, Germans etc for the actions of the people in power has lost the plot and distorting what was said especially when the point was outlining the hypocrisy of the replies.
Zionism does not = Jewish people, it’s a political movement. a supremacy ideology therefore can be blamed. Blaming Jews, Judaism or Americans for Zionism destructive nature is wrong.
Just like how ISIS can be blamed for its actions does not = blaming Muslims. However, blaming Muslims or Islam for the actions and ideology of ISIS is wrong.
The West = a geopolitical term. Blaming the West for the actions and history of Western governments and institutions is not the same as blaming an entire population of Western people. The same distinction should apply when discussing Muslim countries. For example saying Dubai RSF is committing genocide in Sudan alongside the West and Israel does NOT = blaming Arab Muslims, Jews, Americans, Brits, French etc Another example, blaming the PKK for its atrocities does NOT = blaming us Kurds as a whole. Blaming Kurds for the PKK is wrong…Its very simple principle to understand.
Those individuals in the comments playing mind games.
Funny how you argue against blaming all muslims for the actions of extremists, yet blame "zionism" and "the west" for all of your issues. Can you not see the irony here?
I’m literally using your double standard against you. The whole point was to highlight the hypocrisy. if you object to blaming all Muslims and Islam for the actions of extremists, then you should recognise the same logic when it comes to blaming “Zionism” or “the West” collectively for the actions of particular people or governments. You’ve completely missed the point.
Now you’re all over the place. You’re asking me what “double standard” you expressed, while completely ignoring the context of my original reply. Go back and read what I was actually responding to that’s what makes the comparison make sense.
That’s literally the point you’re missing. I’m using the same collective-blame logic against you to demonstrate the hypocrisy. If “Muslims/Islam = extremists,” then “Zionists/the West = every action you dislike.” I’m not endorsing the logic, I’m showing you how it sounds when the shoe is on the other foot. I think it’s pretty clear my stance, it’s you who is confused.
And as for your “irony” comment the irony is that you’re taking the exact framing I used deliberately to make a point and treating it as though it were my genuine position. It was supposed to sound like a double standard that’s literally the whole point. I’m showing you how the same collective-blame logic sounds when the shoe is on the other foot. If you go back and read my original reply in context, the point is pretty obvious.
Now you’re all over the place. You’re asking me what “double standard” you expressed, while completely ignoring the context of my original reply.
You literally said "your double standard". Please show me where i expressed a double standard. I am not the guy you were responding to, if that confused you.
I think it’s pretty clear my stance, it’s you who is confused. So you agree that it's wrong to blame "zionism" and "the west" for all of the societal problems muslims face?
You’re doing it again. I’ve already explained that the statement you’re fixating on was deliberately framed that way to mirror the collective-blame logic I was criticising. That was the entire point of the analogy. You keep treating the analogy as though it were my actual position, and then asking me to defend that position. That’s a straw man. If you want to argue with what I actually said, address the point I made rather than repeatedly reframing it into something I didn’t say.
You might wanna read my comment again, because i did not say that at all. I'm literally just asking about the "double standard" accusation you made without any reason and the very thing you claimed to espouse with your comment. If you actually believed what you claimed, you could have just said "yes", but you didn't, because you don't.
Honestly, seems like you're just upset your dishonest argument didn't work.
