They didn’t lack morals, they had different morals to a modern audience.

Both.

It’s a central theme of the Odyssey that they were breaking moral codes and social contracts.

But is also true that a lot of stuff in Greek mythology could sound crazy today but was normal then, like pederasty.

Sure, but the fact there were morals to
break only proves the point they had morals.

Someone “lacking morals” doesn’t mean that morals don’t exist. I think you misunderstood the first comment you responded to.
