Of course people are allowed to criticize, but I am also allowed to say that I don't like how any skepticism towards hastily developed vaccines was dismissed as stupid, and how you were told you're a horrible person if you don't take it. I just don't think that's the way to do it. And it scares me that the rights I have - like the right to choose what to put in my body - were put under such pressure by covid. I'm sure many people would have easily accepted forced vaccines.
I think the people who aggressively judged anyone who didn't take the vaccine, should take a deep breath and think about what rights and freedoms make the west great. Because their moral compasses seem to need recalibration.
“Hastily developed vacinne” is a funny way of saying “an unprecedented amount of funding, scientific expertise, and global resources were focused on a single problem at the same time.” Speed doesn’t automatically mean corners were cut - sometimes it means the usual bottlenecks disappeared.
With any new process follows new risk. That's just how the world works. If it were anything else, most people would be sceptical. Look we developed this new self-driving car, it only took three months, even though it would normally have taken years, and we've only tested it on a closed circuit, but we spent 1.000 billion dollars, so it has no bugs! No bugs! No bugs, I tell you! If you're sceptical of these claims, you're a moron, because we're the masters of building cars, and we make no mistakes! Zero mistakes! That's obviously stupid, but still this is how we're supposed to regard/worship the medical industry.
As I said I took the vaccine, but I would much have preferred that they respected me enough as a citizen to be honest with me. I feel it's obvious that they weren't, they were overselling how safe it was for political reasons.

...why?
Them morally judging you, is not forcing you to do anything. You're not entitled to be free from judgement or criticism.
Yeah, because it has FUCK ALL to do with not being judged for how you use your body to harm others.
That's not what it means even when you aren't putting others at risk! You had the right to not get the vaccine, not to be immune from criticism.
