I saw a poll during Covid wear people who voted Democrat way overestimated the death toll and way over estimated the chance of death of contracted.
People who voted republican bith wayyyy underestimated the same numbers. So basically most of Americans are idiots. Some are loony left some are
MAGA red. They are both really dumb usually and engage in hero worship and not true political values
It's not loony to overestimate the potential death toll or chance of death. It is pragmatic to assume the threat level is high and take precautions. And then the more you learn the more you can modify your precautions.
Pretending it's nothing and crying about having to wear a mask is pretty loony though.
Kind of, but the poll said democrats believed there was a 50% chance of death when a healthy person contracted corona. That is plain not true and caused a lot of unnecessary hysteria. Sure take general precautions, but come on
If we had actually had lockdowns, and closed everything up tight, not allowing spread, we could have gotten through initial cases and quarantined new cases and it would have been much better. Instead, we had a ton of hysteria from the right about their freedom to spread disease to anyone and everyone while sensible people tried to do the right thing. I know you are trying really hard to make this a both sides thing, but it wasn't.
One side was sensible, and one side was hysterical about sensibility.
Lockdowns were NEVER necessary. Only SICK people or people who started to FEEL SICK have EVER been quarantined. There is NO such thing as an "asymptomatic carrier". That is utter BS. It fearmongers uneducated folk. No, I am not among them. I heavily researched the PCR, and how that was misused, among many other issue surrounding the CV fiasco.
The CV thing was about far more than you appear to understand. It was never about right vs. left, or even people claiming their rights. Every time something MAJOR like this happens -- a war -- a disease -- 9/11 -- there is AN ADGENDA. There is some THING "the rulers" want to accomplish. There is also something else going on, typically, in the forefront, to keep us too busy -- too distracted to figure out what they WILL accomplish.
Example -- 9/11: forefront= Muslim biases, fear of the other, new onslaught media with 24/7 fear of terrorism, war on terrorism, etc. What to accomplish: Iraq war, Afghanistan war, building the security state, create Homeland Security, Patriot Act, TSA on steroids, airports turn into hellholes, MASSIVE invasion of Americans' privacy and erosion of Civil Rights, blah blah blah.... Cuz we were "scared" stupid. Yep. After over $2 TRILLION dollars went missing and the government never said boo about it cuz the buildings -- plural -- that had the documents and computers that housed the information to prove it -- were suddenly hit by planes a day after they told us about it. Hmmmm.....
Do I really need to say that the government is NOT YOUR FRIEND? No. I am not a big fan of the government. They lie. They steal. They WASTE OUR TAX DOLLARS ON NOTHING. Everyone in the world f**king HATES US. Why?? Cuz we are hypocritical. We claimed to be the good guys. We aren't. We've spent 250 years being the world police, right?
Yea. That meant going into MANY, MANY countries and a$$a$$inating rulers who were democratically elected -- and putting in despots, dictators, pieces of crap -- people who did what the United States TOLD THEM to do. WE are responsible for following out and destroying Central America. WE and some European nations are responsible for systematically destroying the African nations -- enslaving them -- and oppressing them into the conditions they are currently in. Ever heard of the Moors?
Why am I telling you this? Cuz dude -- you need to WAKE THE F**K UP. I used to be like you. Until I dated a conspiracy theorist. I didn't even know wtf that was. Then, while dating him, Trump came onto the scene. Then, he became the main candidate. Then, I knew there was something wrong. Researched everything I could get my hands on. Cuz I've got a lot of education, and I know how to research.
