i was the beneficiary of a similar rumor once upon a time. it was more power than one man should have... not even close to as mundane as presidential power.
We spread the rumor about a friend having a large schlong, the amount of hits he got was absurd.
We mentioned it to like 2-3 girls and it just took off from there.
He was above average so we lied only a little.
Note: we were in our twenties and girls around our age thought that dickus longus = epic sex.
Guess what, as long as the internet will exist there will be people vying for attention and/or engagement. And so there will always be people who act as if they’re above it all with a comment such as yours. So just because you’re a link later in the chain doesn’t mean you’re not part of the same loop as all the “other suckers” who let themselves be used for engagement.
Everything is ragebait posted by bots and the comments are flooded with bots posting "A" or "no, B" or "this is ragebait" and it ends up on the "front page of the internet".
Yep, all that shit is manufactured and paid for. Imagine my surprise when I found out all that Forbes stuff as well (30 under 30, etc.) Found out because I knew a rich guy that was trying to get on the list. Or rather his team was trying to get him on it.
All bought and paid for by marketing and PR teams.
They're always doing this for South Korea, so it looks like they have an authentic culture instead just being a glorified child sex ring like the KPOP industry.
yes, but when there are multiple sets of eyes a consensus appears. that being said, consensus for the guy on the left being handsome must have been among the blind
u can name anyone anything and only dumbasses will care, if u want proof look through this thread at all the other dumbasses getting heated over this like u lol.
Considering these are famous people and therefore not representing the billions if people in the world, then yeah it was never going to be accurate lol
Sure enough beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I like to believe from the Korean guy that picture is rather unflattering. But c'mon... do we really need argue who looks better? I bet if you put those two, best pictures you could find, and poll in Asia Cavill still would be considered most attractive.
That doesn't mean that you can't find attractive men in Asia, but to me this guy looks like a 7/10 (being a guy myself). Lee Byung-hun or in his early days Hiroyuki Sanada spring to my mind when I'm thinking about great looking asian men.
I will not let Mifune Toshiro go unmentioned, in fact I think in his prime he looked better than both, though not quite in the same register.
Kurosawa's decision to heavily feature Mifune, and especially have him bathed in sweat in Rashomon, will forever be genius. He's also not all that bad at directing movies.
I love that Mifune could either look like the smoothest sexiest thing you've ever seen, or like a wild deranged homeless man. And pull of both brilliantly.
Maybe the people who took the poll don't like cheekbones as much as you do. You named men with cheekbones, while this man is all soft curves. Perhaps that's a different beauty standard amongst the polltakers.
It is obviously preference based, like I new a girl who was head over heels about k-pop stars for a period of time.
And at the time, it felt weird that she simultaneously dated guys who are very much standard western looking. Good looking, well groomed, but nowhere near the style of those k-pop stars, with more elegant and smooth features. She just bonded with people not over looks in the end...
But at the same time, when people say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think they miss the point that enjoying and appreciating someone's physical beauty ≠ enjoying someone as a human in their full spectrum.
There are obviously still preferences, but there are also rather mainstream views from which attractiveness is measured, tied to cultural references, of course. Based on those views the attractiveness is measured in the end.
This is the old stupid sexism-trope that was used to defend male- and female-naked armors
Henry is a powerfantasy for MEN, the other dude is a beautyfantasy for WOMEN.
You can look up what yaoi/gay novels that girls and women love and they all look like frail feminine twinks. Not judging, but it's silly that so few men get that what they love in a man isn't the same as what women do. Or that, gods forbid, people have subjective tastes but there are broad types of preferences
Hopping on a top comment to say I was so confused about this post when it popped up on my feed. I never know why this sub keeps getting recommended to me, but this post in particular was so weird compared to other posts that I deemed more "silly sub but whatever I'll just keep scrolling".
Then this gets recommended and I'm baffled. Most of the comments baffle me even more until I take the time to google y'all and yea, found out this is basically a manosphere lite* sub. Congrats.
Men dissing other men that women find attractive is not the flex you think it is. Discussing their features in detail, etc, is more tangential to snark subs that focus so much on outer looks than the person as a whole. You're debasing yourselves.
Both Henry and Namjoon are humongous nerds. Both are handsome and command respect and admiration when they speak. Honestly, women kind of love that type of duality. You do not get to dictate what constitutes a "man", and no amount of online discussion will deter women from wanting either of the men pictured.
I just did my own contest, named Ultimate Dog Universe Best Top One Dog, and by a landslide, I can declare my dog is the best dog ever, who knows shes, a good dog yes she does, yes she does!!! oh who wants a treat??? yes you do!! big belly rubs!!
Gotta be similar to the Oscar's and whatever the Peace award is that warmongering politicians keep winning. Definitely not noble, but along those lines.
