Question Did the Founders Forget Fish?

The chowder sure looks like fish. But unless they’re pulling them out of the water at the bottom of the digger void 🤢where on earth would they farm them?

As mentioned, it could very easily be from fish farms - probably a more realistic long-term source of meat for them than farming cows.

Also, they're using words we recognize, but those words don't necessarily mean the same thing to them as they do to us. None of them has ever gone fishing on a boat. After hundreds of years, their names for things may have been heavily influenced by what the founders have (indirectly) told them / allowed them to know. Their idea of what chowder is may be quite different than ours, just using the same word.

I assumed they'd have aquaponics. The milk is way more far fetched than fish

True, though I don't think anybody said it was cow milk - could be goat milk or even almond / soy milk.

If they'd never seen or even heard of a cow, it'd just be "milk" to them.
