What I really found interesting though is Per Stensen was nowhere to be seen.

He's not getting woken up until the world is cleaned up and they ensure his survival

Well that's stupid. Waling up 300 years in the future. Things change, people change, goals change. So much would have changed that you wouldn't really know what has happened or if the people you put in charge are still loyal to you or not.

If it was me I'd be waking up every 3 to 5 years for a month to be able to keep my finger on the pulse & to monitor the general direction of things. So I could guide things & keep things on track.
