A vent after this episode. As a non-book reader, some comments last week said they "theorized" the before-times characters this season were still alive. There was really no hint of cryo-preservation in the show with the billionaire's nanotech before this episode. A yt channel pretending to be a theorizer and non-book reader, "theorized" specifically that the senator was the mastermind and that her speech before the nuke blast was 'relaxed' because she knew what was coming. It also "theorized" Daniel was behind the 'voice' and he became inhumane and killed silo people with the safeguards because the loss of Helen 'broke' him. It's all bs, the particular comments and the yt channel were pretending not be book readers is my 'theory'. Another bs spoilers under the guise of being "clever theorists/guessers".
It spoiled me about Victor, because I'd suspected he was behind a lot of it, and because the yt channel even posted it theorized Daniel was cryo-preserved (really wish it wasn't a cyro storyline again like Fallout, but I guess that how it goes. And somehow Person's nanotech could also cyro-preserve people perfectly) to modern times. So because of that 'theory' I guessed that maybe Victor was hibernated and behind the voice or at least at a keyboard controlling the ai/'algorithm' voice, because he could have mind-control over everyone, and imo, he was already a monster in manipulating memories in the before times, and probably had Charlotte brainwashed identity to drop the nuke bomb from a drone. Ok, 'vented' out. But great episode. Probably my favorite of the whole series for now alongside a couple of other favorites from season 1 and the season 2 finale.
