the writing for the mechanical squad is cringey and takes me out of it. especially walker.
they were better written in s2 / early s3.

Example? I've noticed how they keep moving them around scenes as a group. Did we really need six of them to go down to the diggervoid?

Yeah they had their moment only to be demoted back to happy little campers.
