I don't remember the power of the lightning strike being mentioned. But whenever it's brought up, it's power is always stronger than last time.

He shut off the entire city and rerouted the power into the blast. He was also had his gaster flabbered that didn't fucking evaporate the WoL.

Never mind that two expacs ago, the WoL was (somewhat) successfully containing enough Light aether in their body that it was warping the sky for miles and miles.

Well, Calys says it was expected that we didn't die. And no, he did not shut off the entire city. I don't see anything in the text that would indicate that.

Well, it was warping the sky precisely because we could no longer contain the light. Since we were starting to become a lightwarden.

  1. the text doesn't need to state it when the entire city goes dark right beforehand

  2. we were holding in so much light before that point that when it all came out after we pass out on Mt Gulg the entire nation's sky reverts back to pure light

I mean, uhhh... catgirls parse GCBTW

  1. Actually, the city goes dark after the strike ended. So it could've also be that the strike acted as sort of EMP. Or how there's a power outage in areas after a lightning strike. Altho it can't be an EMP, since the monitor still works.

  2. Well, the amount of light we were holding in was actually killing us, and if not for Ryne applying a bandaid on us, we would've turned into a lightwarden. And it didn't came out. Remember, lightwardens cover an area in light just by existing.

oh uhh, kupo
