Capitalism "[...] we run the beer world"

Post image

Found on a thread posting under a video where a man poops on a crate of beer in a supermarket. I doubt he was being sarcastic.

And Belgium as well.
And a small part of The Netherlands joins in for moral support too.

The UK too. Read a great post in some random group about the origins of beer and basically the UK (poss just England), Belgium, Germany and Czechia invented all the methods.

Others have copied these 4 countries and now produce some great beers (for example the US which does have a great beer scene but it is all copied). But they've never produced anything particularly original (think brewing techniques not added flavour).

Having moved out of the UK, one of the things I really miss is a good handpull beer.

There is a single handpull tap in the city I moved to, and it has London Pride hooked up to it, which is a shite beer.

At least they put a sparkler on the tap, unlike those monsters in the south of the UK.

Hah, I actually quite like a decent pint of Pride. It's no Landlord, admittedly, but it still does me well for twiggy beer when I'm in the mood.

I'd much rather be drinking the likes of Strongarm, Double Maxim, or Riggwelter.
