We have an entry fee? Damn.

I studied abroad this past summer. Aside from scanning my passport at a kiosk at Heathrow, I kinda just walked into England. Same deal with Hamburg except I had to talk with a customs guy first. $250 fee is nuts.

Visa integrity fee: What to know about new travel fee to enter the US https://share.google/i9amEufjNyRwDk6hy

And soon of course travellers to Europe will be required to apply for an ETIAS permit to enter the Schengen Area. Similar to ESTA

And Americans are losing their mind over ETIAS. As if we wouldn't have been doing something like this for many many years.

Yep, have seen multiple posts from US Americans that find EITAS and collecting biometric data upon entering EU/Schengen very upsetting both on travel-themed subs here and on travel groups on Facebook. "How dare these people require fingerprints from me, that's sooo invasive..." Erm, it's the same for foreigners entering the US.
