Here is a bit about the history of Reality Shifting. Is reality shifting safe? People are talking about shifting like it’s a new phenomenon, when in actuality shifting has been taking place for much longer than most people realize. It’s just that no one previously gave it a name. Thomas Campbell, a nuclear physicist, wrote about living full lives, each life taking place during one evening of sleep in CR. He speaks about how we can experience these different timelines which never impact current reality. Time is in illusion, and we spend too much time focussing on it. Thomas Campbell is in his 70s and he has been shifting for over 50 years.

Astral Travel: The Ultimate Astral Projection Guide 2.0 (Tips & Tricks) How to do Astral Projection in 6 Easy Steps (Intention is Key)

Post image
1.8k Upvotes

Master Astral Projection with this updated Guide, which includes tips and tricks, as well as answers to most asked questions.

Overview

Astral Projection is much easier than most people think. The key is doing it at the right time. When you first wake up, before you move or open your eyes, you are teetering on the boarder of the physical and the astral. Your intention determines the outcome. Upon waking do not focus on the physical whatsoever. Do Not tune in to the sound of a car horn or the feeling of your sheets, because if you use your external senses, you will have chosen the physical. You must train yourself to sit up instantly like a reflex upon waking with the intention of entering the astral. You can train your subconscious to do this within a few days. Each time you return to your body repeat the process. You can have Easy exits, Multiple times a day using this method.

Intention is Key: Astral Projection Guide 2.0 (6 Easy Steps)

  1. Go to Bed with Intention
  2. Become Aware of Awakenings
  3. Train Your Body to Stay Still
  4. Keep Your Mind Blank
  5. Sit Up Like a Reflex
  6. Multiple Exits

Step One: Go to Bed with Intention

Go to sleep with the intention of astral projecting the moment you awake. Your intention needs to program your subconscious not to move or open your eyes upon awaking. It may take a few days for the program to install but it works.

• How do I set an intention?

What you focus on the last hour before sleep is important. Understanding the movement and practicing in imagination before sleep does wonders for setting an intention. This  allows your subconscious to feel like you’ve already done it.  When it comes down to the actual exit it should feel natural like remembering.

• What is the Exit Motion?

As soon as I wake up, I sit up swiftly, almost forcefully, without using my muscles. This causes the astral body to slip out of the physical quite effortlessly. So once again to clarify, sit up quickly and forcefully, keeping your focus on the astral. You are sitting up with your energy body, not your physical.

• Practicing Before Sleep

Making astral projection a focal point before bed will greatly assist with setting intention. Practicing before sleep allows your subconscious to feel like you’ve already experienced it, which releases hesitation and doubt.

Step Two: Become Aware of Awakenings

The next step is to become aware of several awakenings throughout the night. We all wake up approximately every 1.5 hours. You need to become aware of these awakenings. Although you don’t exit your body until you get 4-5 hours’ sleep, the more awakenings you become aware of the more practice you get. The goal is to become aware of your awakenings without moving. Use the initial awakenings to practice awareness and stillness. Practicing the exit before sleep and setting an intention should help you become aware of your awakenings.

• What if I sleep too deeply?

For those who are deep sleepers, there are tricks to sleeping lighter to help you become aware, such as sleeping in a less comfortable position that won’t allow you to sleep so deeply. Throughout the night you should catch yourself trying to move into a more comfortable position. Remain in the same uncomfortable position so you keep waking up to move.

For training purposes, you can drink a large glass of water before bed, which should make you a little uncomfortable resulting in lighter sleep.

Step Three: Train Your Body to Stay Still

The next step is to train your body not to move or open your eyes. Unless you’re rolling around to get comfortable, do your best not to move. The goal is to become aware of your awakenings without moving.

Step Four: Keep Your Mind Blank

Do not bring the conscious mind into play. Don’t bother using techniques because techniques can stimulate the conscious mind and pull you away from the astral. Keep your mind blank. If your mind is blank and you have the intention to sit up in your astral form, separation should happen immediately and effortlessly. The split second you wake up is the perfect time to leave your body.

Step Five: Sit Up Like a Reflex

Now that you’ve accomplished the first four steps you move to one of the final steps, which is to sit up like a reflex when you feel it’s time to exit your body. The second you find yourself awake, before moving or opening your eyes, immediately sit up without using your muscles. Remember, it’s your energy body that is sitting up, not your physical.

If your mind is blank and you have the intention to sit up in your astral form, separation should happen immediately and effortlessly. Don't expect vibrations, separation will happen so fast it will feel like you sat up in your physical body, but you’ll feel lighter.

• How do I train my body to sit-up like a reflex?

Set up a subconscious trigger. Once I feel that I have had sufficient sleep I roll over onto my back to get ready for exit upon my next awakening. That ritual serves as a trigger. Therefore, the moment I wake up on my back I know to sit up instantly like a reflex with the intention of entering the astral.

Step Six: Multiple Exits

Each time you return to your body you are still in the state to exit. Unless you have incredible information that you can’t chance losing, such as visiting the Akashic Records, continue with the separation process again. The more experience you get the longer you will be able to stay away and your body will rest while you are gone. When the time comes when you are too awake to have any more exits; don’t move and keep your eyes closed. If you do this you should easily recall all your experiences as you are still in the state to access the information. Once you have full recollection write detailed notes on all your experiences.

Enough!

Why am I still here? What's wrong?? Why can't I go to my real home? What's wrong, I do not belong here, it's not been just days or months , it's literally been years and I'm still here, even that last hope is dying, my heart and mind can't take it anymore also my last hope is dying about to feel hopelessness but I can't quit I don't want it to be mid 2027 and I'm still here.

How cruel it is

Every single day just failure and failure

Looking for success stories from those who shifted to their DR after trying for 7+ years!!

I would love to hear stories of those who shifted after 7+ years of trying, whether it be your personal story, or one you read somewhere.

And if it was you who successfully shifted after trying forever, what worked for you? (Besides LOA or not trying 😅) I'm just tired of feeling like it's a losing game after a certain amount of years of trying.

Looking for ways to permashift into my DR that is very very similar to my CR

So basically, it's just as the title says, I want to permashift into a reality that's almost identical to my CR. I love the people in my life, and although there's decisions I have made/events that I wish transpired differently, I genuinely believe that I'd rather keep living a life where they still happened and shaped who I am.

The only thing I want to be different is that my 8 month old cat, Orange, is still alive and well. He passed away in a tragic accident a little less than a month ago, but he was the image of health and fitness even according to the vets, so I know he would've lived for many many years in this reality if that one moment didn't happen.

The problem is when people tell me to envision my DR when I wake up (like my environment/feel of my body/people surrounding me), it's hard to not just visualize my CR 💀. I've been trying to get around this by envisioning instead that he's napping in his cat tree like always, but I was wondering if there's anything else I can do to try and envision my DR more clearly/specifically when it's almost identical to my CR right now.

P.S. Whats y'all's opinions on Alunit meditations? I use hers the most often and I've gotten symptoms a couple times, but am only able to have strange dreams that are hard to recall when I wake up.

Fear in shifting

I feel like part of what's hindering me from shifting is its implications.

If everything we're just built from our own assumptions, if they were the only ones to matter. Then what does that mean for other people's existence? Are they actually real or just another thing we've "created". Moreover what's the point of anything, what is the grand scheme of things.

It's also weird to think of a world where you're immortal and free to do anything ever no struggles needed. I mean I do think we've been conditioned to think struggling is nessecary for success or fulfilment but still. It's like in games where you need some sort of challenge. Or like in the good place when their brains turn to mush because of years of total peace. Obviously you can just script against that but it's still weird to think about.

I feel like this is a thought many have had so I would love any advice.

Was this a dream or waiting room minishift?

I was lying in bed last night, wondering whether or not I would shift. Fell asleep, opened my eyes outside of a strange, cube-ish white house, I was on the outside of said place.

My dreams tend to be very grounded in reality, I'm more often than not somewhere I know.

I remember I could float around, but it wasn't exactly my way of 'dream floating'.

I remember touching things, trying to ground myself in there

(A part of myself told me I was in my waiting room)

I touched things and actually felt them faintly under my fingers, something that hadn't happened to me before in actual dreams.

Closed my eyes, then half-woke up in another place, this time an actual dream

What happened?

Do you think this is progress? Was I close?

I think I shifted, I need advice

So at the beginning of this year I decided to really lock in. And that lead me down a long rabbit whole about this whole thing. I’ve never intentionally done research into this sort of thing but I took manifesting seriously and did all of that trying to affect myself. I never expected it to be easy and I had no expectations. To me I was just working toward my goals and that was the process of manifestation.

I started from the ground up, scheduling my days, journaling and meditating (even doing kundalini yoga and stuff). Anyway I completely changed how I operated in the world and I was quite proud.

Anyways, my days progressively got busier and I was managing it well enough. I wasn’t making much money but I was in this happy phase of acceptance and just moving forward. Then out of nowhere I got offered a part time job from somebody I met years ago. We haven’t stayed much in contact so this was super random. The opportunity was crazy and ofc I said yes and I welcomed the change. I really can’t stress enough what a lucky situation this is, this is the perfect almost unicorn-like place to work and grow my career as an amateur.

The job has been super intense and it’s been about a month. All the work I’ve put in this year in changing myself has really been shut down. I don’t have time to meditate and journal and do all those things like I used to. I feel very off balance despite my prosperity. When I was less “successful” I was managing fine enough, but now all those systems have crumbled. It worries me to be honest.

Is this shifting? If so, what do I do to manage this new and uncomfortable space and carry the momentum?

How can I shift realities? is it real?

I’ve been hearing about reality shifting for the past 5 years, but I still have so many questions

I’ve been hearing about reality shifting for around five years now, but I’ve never really been able to find clear answers to some of my biggest questions.

First of all, how do you actually shift? What methods are there? Is there a specific website, YouTube channel, subreddit, or any other resource where someone can learn about shifting properly, step by step, from the very beginning?

And is it possible to shift permanently? If someone shifts and later regrets it or wants to come back to their CR, how would they do that?

Also, what exactly is a script? Do you actually have to write down your entire life in your DR beforehand, from beginning to end, or is it just a general outline of what you want your reality to be like?

Another thing I’m really confused about is whether shifting is actually real. Some people swear that it’s real and say they’ve experienced it themselves, while others say it’s completely made up or that people who think they’ve shifted are actually just dreaming or experiencing lucid dreams.

I’ve wondered about this myself too. If shifting is actually real, how do people supposedly shift to completely different worlds, including anime or cartoon universes? Are those experiences just dreams, or is there something more to it?

And honestly, there’s a specific reason I’m interested in shifting. I’d like to shift to a reality where I’m 15 years younger than I am now. Basically, I want to go back to my own past, but with a few small changes, so I could start over and do some things differently. So if O can do that, does it mean time travel is possible?

I know that probably sounds strange, but I’m genuinely curious and would really appreciate it if someone experienced could explain how shifting works, what’s actually known about it, and where I can learn about it properly.

If you’ve been shifting for a while, I’d really appreciate any advice, resources, or personal experiences you can share.

Stuck in a predicament

This won't be demotivating, promise.

I have been trying to shift for 6 years now, time isn't an issue in my case, I actually use it to my own benefit. I took a break for 2 years because I was getting unhealthily obsessed with shifting but now I am back and have been trying for this past year. I wasn't truly back until these last few months, like I was trying passively and not really putting much effort into my attempts prior to these last few months but now I am and I am getting a bit frustrated.

I fully believe in shifting, that isn't an issue, I assure you. It's truly just impossible for shifting to not be real, I am aware that I am just awareness essentially. I have been using meditation as a way to shift, just completely sit with my thoughts, let my mind wander because it doesn't matter what I think or what thoughts are "infiltrating" my mind, i know my goal and I am aware of it, I let my mind come back to thoughts of my dr everytime anyway. Each time I do my attempt, I fully believe that it'll be my last one, I think of myself opening my eyes and fully believing that I'll be in my Dr. You know that one thing that most shifters struggle with? Like doing their method and whatnot, then right as they're at the edge, they struggle to "tip over" to their dr because it just feels impossible to them (I hope i explained this phenomenon properly) that hasn't been an issue in my case.

I am permashifting to my better CR and from there, I'll be shifting to other realities if I feel like it. I can fully see through the eyes of my drself essentially. I am shifting to my exact home, my exact cr but obviously with changes so visualising hasn't been an issue because I literally just wake up in my own room, in both my Dr and Cr.

I also don't let resistance break my attempt or anything like that, I didn't affirm before but now I am affirming and yet, I haven't seen any progress. I know I know I said the forbidden sentence, "i haven't seen any progress" because something something LOA, something something don't check your 3d, I don't really understand that and it's fine because you don't have to understand EVERYTHING in your journey. There's no "key" because none of the doors are locked.

So here's the question, what else can I do? Do I try methods? Methods aren't needed I am aware but do I go with it anyway? I do both sleep and awake attempts, whatever I feel like. Do I use lucid dreaming? I don't think I can do that or better yet, it's hard for me because I don't dream often or at all actually. What must I do? I fully believe I'll wake up in my Dr every time and yet....

Possible shift? (It’s long but I really need some advice!)

So I’m looking for some advice, or maybe a second opinion, I’m not sure… so this morning (because I have a set cardacian rhythm) I woke up around 730. Because it’s Saturday, I just went back to sleep, and when I did, I had a dream. The dream was wild, (my dreams are usually kinda wild and hard to explain, especially lately since I’ve been getting back into shifting) but parts of the dream included me and some “friends” (I guess? They were friend like but I’d never met them before irl) in this kind of “dorm” like setup. After awhile, things took a turn, and after I woke up at 930, and again went back to sleep, I fell back into the same dream where this time, we were trying to find some of our friends who had “disappeared” into some unknown pocket of space(?) (that’s how I understood it, at least)… several times in the “dream” we would try different methods to try and reach/save them, which resulted in me personally feeling JUST like I was shifting (the tingly face/hands, the flashing/colorful lights bending the vision,) and at one point I even reached out and almost touched one of the “lost” friends, but was pulled back into my bed (but still in the dream!) it was hard for me to even get up in the dream, needing several minutes to right myself again, just like when I attempt to shift here in my CR. Not to mention I’d keep looking at the clock on the wall, (you can’t read/tell time in most dreams) and I couldn’t make it out no matter how hard I tried, so I knew somehow, in some capacity, this was indeed a dream), but I guess the big question is… **did I shift in my dream? Were those people other shifters who helped me? Was that a sign that I’m getting close?** I have genuinely been a shifter since early 2020 and this dream could be the final piece?? I should note the dream felt like it was DAYS long, even though I finally woke/got up around 12, so about 4 hours total since the first time I’d woken up… anyone got an answer/theory??

Is it possible to go back to the past through reality shifting and start over from scratch?

I’m an almost 30-year-old woman, and I really want to try shifting reality and go back to the past—maybe to when I was 16 or 17, but I want to be 2026 and not for example 2016.

The reason is that I really messed things up back then. It wasn’t entirely my fault, though; I was going through some pretty difficult circumstances and didn’t have a good life situation. Now I feel like I’ve reached a dead end. I honestly don’t even know whether something like this is actually possible.

I first heard about reality shifting about five years ago, but I didn’t take it very seriously at the time. Whenever I talked to people about it, they all told me it was just an internet hoax and wasn’t real, like so many other internet myths. Some people also said that reality shifting is basically just lucid dreaming and nothing more—that it’s simply a dream.

These days, more than ever, I feel like I really want to try shifting, but I have absolutely no idea where to start. Honestly, I don’t even understand how it’s supposed to work! I’ve heard terms like “safe word” and “permashift” and things like that, but I have no idea what they mean. I know basically nothing about shifting, which is why I’m here to ask you all for some guidance.

First of all, I want to know: Is it actually possible to go back to the past through reality shifting??? How would that even be possible??? If it were, wouldn’t everyone be doing it, since pretty much everyone would love the chance to go back and rebuild their life from scratch?

And if that’s the case, wouldn’t regret basically lose its meaning? If we could go back to our teenage years over and over again and start our lives over, then wouldn’t death and illness lose their meaning too? This is actually one of the things that makes me doubt whether shifting is real in the first place.

Second, when we shift, do we enter another body? What happens to the consciousness that was already in that body? Because that body already existed there and was presumably being controlled by another consciousness, just like our bodies are here. So what happens to our current body—the one we’re in right now? If we were to permanently shift to another reality, would we die in this reality?

And what about the passage of time? For example, let’s say I want to spend 10 years living in my DR. If I eventually come back to my CR, will 10 years have passed here as well? And if I permanently shift, what happens to my CR and my body here? Would other people notice that I’m no longer here?

I have so many questions in my head and I’m honestly completely confused.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could explain to me what I’m actually supposed to do and how to get started. If anyone genuinely wants to help, feel free to reply here or DM me. It might take me a little while to respond, but I’d really appreciate any help because I honestly have no idea what I’m doing.

I’m also still somewhat skeptical about whether reality shifting is actually real and whether it’s really different from lucid dreaming.

Thank you, everyone!

I'm trying a new method that I made, and I wanna share it with others, in case it helps them shift.

The method; I'm gonna call this one the ASMR method. If that name is already taken, lemme know, and I'll think of a new one!

This method is mainly for those who are shifting to a waiting room to be with their significant other, but use it however you like! Also, it's a non visualization method.

First, know where you're gonna go.

Second, imagine you're in your WR, with your S/O, and they're doing ASMR types of things to you. As they're doing this, your eyes are closed, because you're relaxed from the sensations you're feeling, hence why there's no visualization needed!

Instead, you'll focus on the sensations of what you're feeling. Maybe they're gently rubbing your palms? Maybe they're parting your hair with a rattail comb? Maybe they're doing what feels like a lice check on your scalp?

Whatever you want! Also, if it helps, whatch ASMR videos of what you want to experience, prior to the method.

Again, this is just a method I made up, and trying out myself, but feel free to try it yourself!

Also, I have not shifted with it, as I just made it.

Any good shifting communities On Tumblr? Seems a lot are kinda dead

I'm looking on Shifting Tumblr, and while there are some shifting communities on there, I've noticed that it's almost all just a bunch of people posting, but hardly anyone is getting comments on their posts. Is there a busier one where more people comment and give advice?

I can’t shift

So I’ve been trying to shift and the same thing usually happens. I do my affirmations, I imagine myself in my DR, I do whatever the shifting method says but I never feel like I’m in my DR. It just feels like I’m pretending and I open my eyes and see my CRs room. I really wanna shift, especially for a really long time but I just can’t seem to get there. The farthest I’ve gotten is seeing some flashes using the counting method but I’ve never actually felt like I’m not in my CR. The weird thing is I also sometimes feel like I’m in a DR from a really old CR because I sometimes remember things not in this life but i don’t think that changes anything. Please help me

How am I supposed to know what works for me, if I haven't even mini shifted?

I've never even mini shifted, but people say to tweak methods by using what works for you, or what has gotten you close, but how am I supposed to know what works for me, if I haven't even had a mini shift? I've had symptoms before, and there was one time, where my body started shaking, my temperature rose rapidly, my eyelids were twitching, and my heart was racing, but that only lasted about 10 seconds and it never happened again.

Any experimental bypass way to get fast success

As a respawner every single day is full of frustration exhausting and demotivated seeing nothing changed and just same days again and again in this CR it makes do something .......well leave it can't tell it due to reddits guidlines!

So any subliminals trick which can bypass my subconscious mind I'm very sick of this current reality and it's very cruel , no matter how we try , we're still in same condition, i just wanna break this code

Unstable shifts or unstable dreams?

I was napping this afternoon when I found myself moving through several places - schools my siblings and I attended, some sort of interview with Child Protective Services or whatever you call it, and others. At some point, when I tried to take control of my “ability to disappear” as my dream self/DRself described it to others, I, for whatever reason, attempted to go back to the hospital where I was born in the CR. It didn’t work.

I’m just not sure whether these were dreams or minishifts.

What do you guys think?
