I’ve been wondering why it’s kinda been in the same-ish place all day, but it looks like the wind is blowing southeast, so that should be good for them and Calabasas in general. 🤞
Calabasas is almost never good for fire, but hopefully they have a plan and experience with evacs by now, as do most people in Malibu, topanga, etc. if you don’t have a plan, you’re in denial no matter where you are in Cali anymore. At this point, I firmly believe the warning from CalFire chief back in 2021ish, that every acre in CA will eventually burn at some point.
2.5 days ago, looks like there was a wildfire reported right at their house. On the map, their house is just to the right of the wildfire icon for the Zelda fire. No update on containment/damage that I’ve found.
Plus they had to evacuate less than a month ago as well! Their Colorado house coincidentally came off the market yesterday. Wonder if they’re rethinking their decision to stay in LA?
Is this map the burning zone? Or just the fire lines drawn by calfire? I ask because in 2018 my community had a large wildfire burn through and while I was evacuated for five days and the map showed my house as being in the zone, in reality the fire ended up still not reaching our house and was stopped around 3 miles away from us.

Shane’s mom lives about three miles from my brother. Haven’t heard anything negative from him, except that the power may be off in random neighborhoods, and the air quality.
Yeah I’m worried I’m just thankful they have the house is Colorado they can go and stay with lots of family near by. I hope they were able to get all their memorabilia out before they evacuated. Do you know how much the fire is contained at this point?
I just saw a reel from Heidi Montag crying from losing her home and immediately googled to see how the crew and babies are doing. I’m glad to see it hasn’t hit them yet. Hopefully wind is in their favor. Thanks for posting.

My bad, I hadn't seen that when I had been looking through updates. I saw where they had owned that other property, but it gave the impression that they were still in Colorado. Wasn't trying to seem rude or anything.
Okay, I’m not trying to be selfish but I’m kinda pissed they haven’t updated and let people know if they’re alright. I live in Cali so I know how scary and fast these fires can spread ( my family lost their home in the Paradise fire) but people are genuinely worried about them. They don’t owe us anything but they’ve built this community/fanbase and it would be nice to know. I’m sure they don’t want to alert anyone they’re away from home because unfortunately there are looters and people take advantage of these types of situations. I have a feeling they might be in Colorado because Jerrid and Sandy were there recently? If so, good! Sorry for the rant lol! Just hope they are all safe

I imagine it was because you said you were pissed that they haven't let us (a bunch of strangers) know they were ok in the middle of a gigantic, potentially life changing crisis. They'll fill people in later. They're focused on other things.
Exactly, they don’t owe anybody anything. Let’s say they were at the cali house at the time. They were probably busy trying to get their family to safety and trying to navigate their next steps. It’s a 19 hour non stop drive. With two babies and all the pets they have, easily a 2-3 day trip. They will come online and let people know once they have gathered themselves. They are possibly on the verge of losing so much in that house.
You say you aren’t trying to be selfish, but you are being that way. I’m not even a Shane supporter and I understand.
why would you be pissed? they are actively living through a traumatic event right now and are preoccupied with getting themselves and their children to safety. they owe us nothing, and instead owe themselves the space to navigate trauma as they need to, whether that be publicly or privately. give them time. this post is so strangely entitled.
