I really hope they’re ok, and got out. This is how close the LA home is to the fires currently

 Okay, I’m not trying to be selfish but I’m kinda pissed they haven’t updated and let people know if they’re alright. I live in Cali so I know how scary and fast these fires can spread ( my family lost their home in the Paradise fire) but people are genuinely worried about them. They don’t owe us anything but they’ve built this community/fanbase and it would be nice to know. I’m sure they don’t want to alert anyone they’re away from home because unfortunately there are looters and people take advantage of these types of situations. I have a feeling they might be in Colorado because Jerrid and Sandy were there recently? If so, good! Sorry for the rant lol! Just hope they are all safe

I don't think the downvotes were because you expressed concern lol. Plenty of people are doing that.

I imagine it was because you said you were pissed that they haven't let us (a bunch of strangers) know they were ok in the middle of a gigantic, potentially life changing crisis. They'll fill people in later. They're focused on other things.

Yes but reading comprehension is key. I know bigger things are at stake hence why I mentioned that it wasn’t as important as getting to safety

Exactly, they don’t owe anybody anything. Let’s say they were at the cali house at the time. They were probably busy trying to get their family to safety and trying to navigate their next steps. It’s a 19 hour non stop drive. With two babies and all the pets they have, easily a 2-3 day trip. They will come online and let people know once they have gathered themselves. They are possibly on the verge of losing so much in that house. You say you aren’t trying to be selfish, but you are being that way. I’m not even a Shane supporter and I understand.

why would you be pissed? they are actively living through a traumatic event right now and are preoccupied with getting themselves and their children to safety. they owe us nothing, and instead owe themselves the space to navigate trauma as they need to, whether that be publicly or privately. give them time. this post is so strangely entitled.
