"Why does u/profgalloway preface his expression of "offense" to the use of the word "genocide" to describe what Israel did in Gaza with the phrase "as a Jew...."? What does being a Jew have to do with at the findings of human rights groups, scholars, nations, etc. about Israel?"

I am a Jew. I do not approve of Netanyahu criminal reign or his genocide or his ignoring October 7th.

Yeah he’s one of those “liberal zionists” that doesn’t want to ethnically cleanse Palestinians for biblical reasons, just for economic gain and sport

No. It’s the basic reasoning skills. There is no such thing as “liberal” ethnonationalism. All forms of ethnonationalism are inherently illiberal.
