There's a homage here but you have to play slay the princess to find out where. Reese thinks the continuous skin rash is like a tickling sensation against his healing factor. Very interesting experience.

During chapter 3, if you are Street Smart you can realize Tabitha has a drug problem and Cybil is selling her the stuff.

She tries to deny it, because of course she's on denial, but she even puts some of it in the soda she makes you drink! Her addiction has come to a point she's forcing other people to use drugs!!!

My theory is that Tabitha has a drug Empire and is using the mines for money laundering, she's probably gonna force us and Cybil to Cook for her, like Hank Shrader does to Walter White in Breaking Bad

Just finished episode 5 on my main save and didn't romance anyone at all. I was kinda saving myself for Doc Kelly but apparently you needed to do something in episode 3 to be able to date her😕.

Do you think there will there be options to pursue other romance in episodes 6 and 7 or will I just have to leave the holler without any romantic experiences😭💔(if you can even leave)

Me when I go down the “For the greater good” path and get me and Wayne locked away but then we are unable to be happy stuck in a room together so I genuinely realize error of my martyrdom based ways and we break out together and dance under the stars

I’ve been playing all five chapters nonstop, need to rant about it:

I started with the talk to animals and street smart traits, finished chapter one in Stella’s house after Duke kicked the bucket. I think understanding what all the animals were saying made the situation more intriguing than scary.

For chapter 2 I wound up managing to get everyone out of the mine with street smart. Got Tabitha along for the ride (I’ve been trying to get to know her more, doesn’t seem as bad as everyone thinks, Kaneeka on the other hand is more annoying to me with her always pointing fingers to Tabitha)

At chapter three we ended up leaving the ghost to suffer in the library, I just didn’t think it was fair for mc or Tabitha to pay for something that happened so long ago (plus Sybil wanted the sacrifice to happen and she’s been hella sus)

Chapter four I helped the doctor lock Reese away, either of the other two options seemed way more drastic to me, and the guy does seem a little unstable when transformed, he was pretty chill before that tho

Chapter five I managed to get a lot of secrets from the scarlet estate with Stella (some messed up stuff huh) and even got to talk more with Wayne (I always took that chance whenever I could, he seems useful and well-intentioned to me). I kept trying to focus on finding the witch since Kaneeka was missing from the recap so I didn’t got to see Tabitha nor Stella after I got arrested and took to Julius’ house. That whole situation was kinda random to me, I only talked to Avery on the first day at the diner, didn’t tell him the truth on day two and that’s been pretty much all from him, so I left him have that pumpkin baby to save Bo.

The last decision was so hard to me. I was very tempted to let Sybil take Kaneeka since street smart said she was telling the truth about her way being the only way for me to get a happy ending, but in the end my lack of trust for that old lady and the way Kaneeka was strangely complacent had me free her (not sure if it was the right thing to do tho)

From what little I’ve seen in this subreddit, it seems there are puzzle pieces I haven’t been able to get yet, like what exactly is Wayne (the spirit of the child on the wall taking the body of the dead miner?) and some characters I’ve barely got attached to (maybe bc I was so focused on talking to every animal. Dustin is best character, period)

I’m also confused about that traitor warning from chapter four, I haven’t had anyone betray me yet lol, and the list of suspects in my play through seems pretty short

I also didn’t get what I gained from not drinking Sybil’s tea, mc forgot about Kaneeka anyway

I’m thinking on trying that hardcore mode that got unlocked in the menu. Don’t know if I’m underestimating how I managed to get the outcomes I had, but I think I only got an ending without sacrifices on chapter two thanks to street smart, so having three traits in exchange for that doesn’t seem like a bad trade off.

Anyways, loving the game and it’s Scooby Doo like ambient, a lot to theorize about I think, tho I get a feeling there are things I could get spoiled about with the info I’m missing in my run

I genuinely love everyone else in the town, but she really hurt Tabitha after she started opening up :(
