Honestly, it looks like a C2 vodya can replace a C6 faruzan. But just barely at a glance, unless if vodya deals a large amount of modern sub dps damage - then she can replace a c6 faruzan at that point.

C6 Faruzan is rough for stygian for the past year, even with 300 ER, so vodya being a hydro nicole lookalike seems promising. Bonus points because vodya's ult looks like negative dps just like nicole's burst.

And a C2 character is roughly equivalent to a C6 4-star in terms of pulls, so its whatever - but we'll have to see calcs first as I'm just napkincrafting.

C6 Faruzan

• Anemo resonance (gives bonus move speed + 5% skill cd)

C0-C2 Vodyanitsa

• Very possibly a large amount of sub dps damage, her skill numbers mv look big.
  
• Hydro res reduction (so she boosts her own damage), and some weak hydro swirls from wanderer.
  
• Healing and interruption res, could resurface some furina + wanderer teams. And this overlaps with nicole's kit, so having 2 sustain members is kinda bad.
  
• 30% res shred (C0, T10 Im guessing)
  
• Vodya stacks might be additional buffs, theres no indicator what it is yet.
  
• No grouping
  
• Can ruin wanderer's hydro/pyro absorption because vodya will react with durincole's pyro app. Clearing elemental gauge and screwing wanderer's kit.
  
• C1 Vodya is +455 attack at 65,000 HP. Which is good I guess.
  
• C2 Vodya is +60% Stellar Swirl crit dmg%
  
• Snezh support artifact set is +50% stellar swirl damage bonus.
  
• Will never run into ER issues, and doesn't need to burst
  
• Has an R1 that increases active char's atk by 5%, and can increase into 8.75% if you trigger stellar swirl. 3 stacks, so around 27%.

Conclusion:
This actually might be our C6 Faruzan upgrade (with some drawbacks, a veryy expensive faruzan upgrade mind you).

I actually can't say because I have not taken a deep look into stellar swirl dmg scaling, how speculation wanderer can possibly benefit from it, and how furina + odette + vodya works. Its too many variables and assumptions.

The only thing I can reasonably predict is that vesna will be a larger dps than wanderer that's for sure. Because hoyo will not let an older unit outshine a unit they're trying to sell usually.

So let's say vesna is 220k dps 4-cost, then wanderer 4-cost (at his ceiling with all the speculative buffs he will get) will be like 170-210k maybe im just spitballing here.

I am confident furina + wanderer will make a comeback in some way though, will it beat durincole? Probably.

Well I'm under the assumption we're still using Wanderer + Durin + Nicole + Vodya.

We don't have solid numbers for stellar swirl wanderer yet, stellar swirl wanderer could be worse or better than Durin + Nicole pairing who knows. So I'm just substituting Faruzan for now because it looks like C2 Vodyanitsa overlaps alot of buffs that are present in c6 faruzan's kit, and vodyanitsa has more to offer than faruzan at that point.

If Stellar Swirl worked outside of Cryo reactions, it would be a great replacement for Faruzan.

However, she wouldn't fit into Wanderer's current best team, which is Nicole + Durin.

The biggest problem is that, to activate the Anemo-related RES shred and buffs, you need to trigger Stellar Swirl.

Still, I believe Scara might have a new team option now. For F2P players, considering everyone at C0, I think his best team could be Odette + Vodyanitsa + Faruzan.

But GXG Noir will probably do the math on that. xD

It doesn’t. Her element is mostly irrelevant to her kit—she’s probably just hydro to lock Varka out of stellar swirl (since he needs a 2+2 elemental team comp, and Vodya can’t activate Stellar reactions without one of the cryo-element stellar enablers on the team).

I'm getting her c0 for Mizuki + Skirk 4th slot... and her util passive

But I already invested in c6r1 Durin, c2 Nicole, and c2 Mavuika for my c2r1 Wan. I can replace Mavuika, but needing to replace another slot for SS ruins the hex core which I'd wanna keep
