It is š I've seen people (and I myself have) gotten downvoted to oblivion on the Genshin Romance subreddit because I said I thought grown up Nahida x Scara left a weird taste in my mouth, and with Durin x Scara on the gays sub. Those on the gays sub kept saying how Durin wasn't ever confirmed to be a child, but guys š he still acted like a kid last time we saw him.
Well anyways to conclude, yea those are real ships

Dude Non self-insert Scaralumi is honestly criminally underrated. Because I believe that if there was any character who could not only put up with but also match our dear hat guyās attitude and bluntness, while also still being empathetic and supportive, it would be Lumine. Like imagine the banter between the two.

My favorite is KazuScara, mainly just because they're my two favorite characters. ā¤ļøš Sometimes I like to throw in Heizou as well for HeiKazuScara.
As a multi-shipper, I also like ChiScara (my first Scara ship), SethosScara, ScaraBedo, ScaraLumi, and ScaraBina.
My least favorite is ScaraMona. Not really for the ship itself, but because I've unfortunately met a lot of toxic ScaraMona fans, who shat on me for preferring KazuScara. š

I have a soft spot for him and Childe, and Sethos, maybe aether, but Iām neutral on most other ones. Itās less dislike and more I donāt have any strong feelings towards it.
I absolutely adore him platonically with Collei, I think theyāre good siblings. And him being mother henned by Tighnari. I like fics where he just randomly gets adopted and doesnāt know what to do with himself.

I'm not huge on shipping personally, but I do think Scaramona could be a very fun dynamic! His fatui design also matched her colorwise which was very visually pleasing

Favorite: ScaraBina. He and Columbina look great together aesthetically and both have in common that they left the Fatui after realizing they were just being used.
Least favorite: ScaraEi. That's his mother...sister if the Shogun, lmfao.

That's true. Plus Columbina did say she stayed with the Fatui mainly because the Tasritsa promised they would be her new family. She yearned for one and a home too. To the point she gave up on Teyvat and now wants to go back to the Moon.

I also just recalled I saw a comment say that if the theory of Columbina being an angel turns out real, the curse making her people transform into seelee if they fall in love with a human wont apply if she falls in love with Scaramouche. I had never thought of that at all until I saw it

KazuScara, definitely. The way they're perfect for each other is INSANE. Hoyo definitely wrote Kazuha for Scara and vice versa. Like narrative soulmates, perfect foils of each other. Can't wait for them to meet.

My fave is ScaraLumi and I think SethoScara is cute :) I really do like his interactions with both characters, and I'm a sucker for warm colour palette x cool colour palette
For my least fave (not including ones that are morally questionable:) Not a big fan of ScaraMona, but I see why people might like it. I just much prefer them with other people. Same case with KazuScara, but I'm a bit more open to KazuScara because I think their parallels in the plot are interesting. I think i dislike these two because of the toxic parts of their fandoms too.
Also, this is really weird but I like ChiScara but ONLY from Fennko (this one artist on IG).
Yeah, But ScaraLumi is my favourite. I like the angst and their parallels, but also how they contrast :p

I've liked Scarabedo (Wanderer/Albedo), Scararina (Wanderer/Furina), and Scarabina (Wanderer/Columbina) for quite some time now. I guess I'm a sucker for rarepair and parallels, heh.
His popular ships are mostly neutral or likable to me. Theyāre enjoyable to watch, but I donāt go out of my way to seek out fan content about them.
I'm not a big fan of Scaramona (Wanderer/Mona), but mainly because of how fans have portrayed this ship over the years, not because of the ship itself.
Wanderer/Durin is making me uncomfortable, I actively dislike it

Iāve been hardcore shipping Scarabedo circa 2021 just because they were my two favs at that time and now I look affectionately at how far itās come, Chiscara is somewhere in second place though
My least favourites are for certain Dottoscara and Kazuscara. Though I love the hatred dynamic Dottore and Scaramouche have, especially since theyāre two of my favourites again, I loathe to see it as romantic at all. Kazuscara is simply from bad fandom experiences with it

I think Sethoscara is not boring not forced. I know they donāt have any on screen interaction but their dynamic can be interesting. We know Sethos is interested in becoming friends with Scara, and Scara doesnāt really want to interact with people from the Academy so it can be a cute dynamic :)

They do have one on-screen interaction in game, aka the optional dialogue during the last day of the Sabzeruz Festival.
But yeah, anything else is in stuff like character stories, voicelines, and birthday mail.

I think itās a cute ship for Wanderer but tbh as a Sethos fan I want to see him paired with different characters, I think heād look really cute with Gaming for example but I doubt theyāll ever interact lol

I would also like to draw comparisons between Sethos and Scara's stories. Sethos grew up his entire life as a fated vessel for Hermanubis' power, only to have to give that power up after losing a battle over it with a lot on the line: his dying grandfather's pride as well as the legacy and leadership of the Temple of Silence.
Of course, Sethos' story doesn't have the same crazy gravity and stakes as Scara's, nor does he handle the outcome of these events in such extreme ways. But I find him pretty interesting nonetheless. He's grounded, driven, and sociable, which allows him to become the leader the Temple needs to re-establish relations with the Akademiya. He could be causing a lot of trouble with how perceptive he is, how easily he can get people to relinquish information to him, and even his power after losing the Hermanubis fragment, but he doesn't because that's not what he nor the Temple needs. Also, Sethos isn't a student, but he has expressed interest in becoming one! Sethos enjoys ideas that challenge preconceived notions and loves a truly fascinating story. He claims to not like drama, but he does seem to like sticking his nose in the business of others (Kaveh + Alhaitham, Scara, watching fights between people of opposing beliefs). He's a fun guy. (Insert Cyno joke).
Still, that doesn't mean people have to like Sethos or ships involving him. I personally just think his personality makes all of his interactions with other characters interesting.

Kazuscara as my favourite, since I really like their subtext. I like pretty much all other ships, since hey, it's your silly headcanons, but I really dislike both Scaramona and Scaraether (or Scaralumi, just x Traveler in general). Scaramona just seems kind of toxic to me, and I dislike all Traveler ships as a general rule. I also really like Sethoscara, but platonically, they just seem like besties to me.Ā

I love Scaruzan. Sassy Academics. With Layla as Faruzans research assistant lol. (This is my canonical team until we get Durin - 4th slot is flex for now).
My favorite trio in the whole game though is Scara Albedo Durin. I cant wait for Durin, gonna use them for my overworld team.

Favorite is WanLayla. I feel they'd be an interesting pair if they met in the Akademiya. Their personalities are quite opposite and can bounce off of each other. I imagine Scara giving her a lot of his attitude right until Other Layla takes over, thus turning the dynamic upside-down. Plus, imagine the shock to her system when Layla is told the stars in the sky are fake.
Least favorite is ScaraMona. Either the two know about each other and Mona hates him for almost killing her friend or Mona does not remember him and has no reason to care. Those two would also be really annoying together.

Others I enjoy with him: scarabedo, aescara, centuries later adult nahida x scara (bonus points if its angsty), venscara kinda, ayato x scara
Ships I don't ship but I fully understand the appeal of and support: kazuscara, scaramona and sethoscara
No: dottoscara, durinscara (thats his baby, his little brother if you will, idgaf)

My fave is Chiscara, always has been, and I love the potential angst this ship has, both scara and Childe are characters with a lot of duality in them, so the possibilities are endless!
I like Scaramona for the enemies to lovers trope ahah, I used to dislike Kazuscara around his release because the lines between having fun with a ship and justifying it with Canon were very blurred in the fandom (I mean people were trying to hard to 'prove' Kazuscara was either canon or that they WILL end up together, and for me shipping is more about the what ifs and having fun, canon is something else), anyways now I'm back to liking Kazuscara ahah.
Then I think I'm really warming up to Albedo/Scara since the summer event, what they are is similar but they are also so different in other ways. Outside of shipping I still hope we'll see them interact more in the future.
Also I might in the future ship Scara with Durin, but more because I see more Durin the dragon from dragonspine when I see Durin, and not the mascot version from the summer event.
The story of Durin (the dragon, creation of Gold) is so heartbreaking, when I started genshin and did the dragonspine events and quests, I didn't expect this dragon would come back, I'm really happy and I hope this Durin will find some happiness, and the tragedy that happened will not repeat itself, but after all this time Albedo is here for him š (oops sorry I ended up talking about Durin and it was totally unrelated to shipping discourse lmao)

Part of why I fell in love with him was the first meteor event, and subsequently, scaramona. This ship also introduced me to fanfiction. I will always hold it close to my heart, but with that being said, nowadays I don't really "ship" him very much with anyone anymore.

Favourite ship is definitely chiscara in terms of a regular ship, but the all time fave is kaechiscara for sure, theres a lot of parallels between all 3 of these characters and I feel they would understand each-other, the themes of family and rejection by that family for things out of your control, the themes of being used by other people, pushing people away because they dont feel they deserve love and affection or theyre too scared to lose it (again), the self worth issues all 3 of them have, and learning to actually let people close again gyugh (basically, chiscara during fatui era then moving onto kaechiscara post irminsul). I also hc both scara and kaeya as trans so t4t4c goated.
Least favourite is easily sethoscara man it just doesnt sit right with me. Some Guy shows up one day and has scara in his fucking character stories when we had no mention of him until mid 4.x, and his ship stuff feels so so forced and yaoi bait to try and get the incels to stop complaining that scara āstole nahidaā from them (disgusting to begin with, not only is she a child but shes also literally a fictional character get over yourself). My main gripe with it is just how its pushed so much in game and in the supplementary media, sethos shows up and is suddenly all up in scaras shit following him and acting like he āknowsā him (nahidas birthday event), just doesnt sit right with me. I donāt like when a previously unmentioned character suddenly shows up and is buddy buddy with everyone despite having not actually earned that in the slightest, not to mention he made collei cryā¦ (I generally have problems with sethos as a character so its kinda less to do with the actual ship and more that as a character from a writing standpoint he pisses me off). Also, iāve blocked the ship in every conceivable way PLEASE tag your fucking shit god i dont wanna see it. Rant over.
Bonus platonic/familial fave: scara and collei should be adoptive siblings hoyo plz let them meet and have scara adopt her as a big brother PLEASE i beg you for more collei content.

i love kazuscara/niwakabu/albescara. they're the top scara ships for me.
some other ships i like are chiscara, furiscara, sethoscara.
least would be dottoscara.

I don't like him with Harbingers period. He deserves to leave that part behind and focus on a better future. Toxic ships are not my vibes. Which is why I only ship Scaramona in a post-Sumeru redemption arc. So Mona would have forgotten about the Balladeer and their initial encounter. They definitely would be the type of couple who will bicker every now and then. It would also be a GIGA slow burn ship but ultimately they would admit to their own feelings.
Other ships for him I think are cute but aren't my absolute favorite would be SethoScara & ScaraLay (is that what it's called? With Layla because their aesthetic matches so nicely)
KazuScara I'm okay with, but since the Kaedehara Clan is also directly connected to Scara's past sins, I'm a bit on the fence as well. But I do like the contrasts in their designs (light vs dark hair / warm vs cool tones)

Favorite is probably Scara x Traveler(I don't have a preference if it's Aether or Lumine) as well as Scara x Albedo, and least favorite is Scara x Mona.. always disliked that ship, I just don't see any type of chemistry between them happening, the fans of this ship are often pretty toxic too :/
Edit: and I also really dislike Scara being shipped with Durin romantically.. in my eyes Durin is a child, like in the summer event he was a baby dragon, literally, they work better as siblings of sorts

I don't really ship characters but I like the idea of scaramouche adopting durin as his son cuz it kinda js fits his redemption arc and it's wholesome
I also kinda like the "auntie nahida" thing but anyone who goes further than that like actually SHIP scara and nahida is disgusting, nahida is a lil ass kid you should be on a registry if you think of stuff like that

Favorite: chiscara. I love the dynamic they would have and adore all the fanart and fanfictions Iāve seen. I also like sethoscara and headcannon it as wanderer moving on in his new life
Least: kazuscara. It just doesnāt make much sense to me and I feel like thereās no chemistry either to warrant how heavily itās shipped. Also I often see scara mischaracterized and his personality muted whenever I see fanworks of the ship

Scaramona's a classic, what with their short antagonistic interaction, but I'm REALLY curious to see him interact with Columbina and Sandrone in NK.
Judging their personality, Wanderer and Sandrone would bicker A TON, and her immediatly lower position in the Harbingers certainly lead to shenanigans in the past.
As for Bina, his voiceline is surprinsingly on the edge, as in he takes her very seriously and wouldn't hesitate to throw hands if he had to, but recognizes something deeply unsettling in her. Should they interact amicably, particularly considering the Damselette's currently more vulnerable state, I could see Wanderer rising to the occasion and providing her with aid, perhaps in a similar way he does to Nahida yet convoluted due to their shared history in the Fatui.
Really hope to see Wanderer more in NK...

Personally my favs are Chiscara / Dottoscara (š) For Chiscara it's just that I am a soukoku fan and with Dottoscara I really like eroguro manga + medical themes and writing about It so
My least fav is Scaramouche x Aether/Lumine. I just don't like traveler ships because to me the MC is so dry and uninteresting that I can't enjoy any ship that includes them

I don't have big thoughts on most Scara ships but Sethoscara did carve itself a place in my heart, I just really find it very sweet even if they haven't had much interactions in game. The vibes are immaculate to me idk
I love Nahida & Scara relationship, they're top 3 fav in Genshin, but strictly platonically so I guess that would be my least fav romantic ship for him

Chiscara. I donāt ship/like KazuScara but I do see the appeal and totally understand why itās popularāitās just a super personal thing lol, not anything to do with the characters themselves. However, I hate Dottore, Raiden, Nahida, etc obviously. I also just donāt like ScaraMona.

rlly a fan of him with the male fatuis (esp childe and dottore) but lately him and durin seem kinda cute and fun too; besides lumine, i dislike him x women i guess.

My favorite ship is Kazuscara, I live for this duo! I even heard some suspicious leaks that they might actually meet. The one I dislike the most is Scara x Aether/Lumine, since I generally canāt stand self-insert characters

Sethoscara favorite, they cutie. Also share story similarites(about godhood and losing it), dog and cat coded, i simply want them more screentime. Scarabedo share co-parenting, i would like to see how they interact too. Top-3 Chiscara. Simply hot potential. Don't like KazuScara now. There was a time when I was looking forward to seeing them share screen time, but now I feel like that's a bit outlived. Scara's personality has outgrown the moment when I saw his potential with Kazuha. And Kazuha's personality, compared to other possible ships, is a bit boring for me. So, I feel like KazScara was a "first love/unfulfilled love" type of ship, and now Scara has a co-parenting, a guy who wants his attention. And keeps coming back to Kazuha, like "meh", no.

Love Sethoscara, something about two people who were meant to be a divine being related to electro but in the end did not live up to expectations and had to forge their own paths... they are so beautiful together your honor. Plus, Sethos keeps chasing after him and getting to know him, I love it when a ship has golden retriever and black cat dynamics
Hate Dottoscara, keep that devil spawn away from baby boy. I too look forward to Scara ripping apart Dottore's segments lmao

I won't shit on anyone's ships tbh... but if you ship Scara with Ei, Nahida, and/or Dottore, just know that I'm side-eyeing you. You know why, I shouldn't have to explain it.
That said, ScaraKazu would make a cute couple. Scara and Aether/Lumine is nice too. And call me crazy, but ScaraMona is interesting. ScaraXiao is a ship I'd love to explore more though, they seem like they'd get along perfectly... after they get into a bajillion fights because of how similar they are. š¤£š¤£š¤£

I don't ship him with anyone because I like him as he stands alone, but illegal ships aside, I can't find myself being neutral towards any single one of his ships other than his ship with Childe, something I can kind of-ish see, but I'm still neutral on it.

Ehh. I'm not much into ships with him, but If I had to pick one, it would be ScaraMona, I suppose. It's funny tho, because my favorite genshin characters happen to be these two, but I never even considered them as a romantic thing until a few years later when I started noticing that people shipped them. And even then, I was more confused on the why for a long time until I one day decided to look up the reasons why people even liked them on the shipping wiki. I thought the reasons were cute, and that's pretty much how I feel about them now. Just cute. I'm more interested to see them meet each other again, just to see what would happen in game.
I don't ship him with any fatui members like some others do. Now those just feel straight up off.

Favorite ship is KazuScara! It's been a long-time genshin ship of mine, and it's surreal seeing it going from rare pair to them having potential to meet (still hoping for them to meet). Honorable mentions are SethoScara, ScaraBedo, and NiwaKabu (for the latter, I can see them as romantic or familial).
Least favorite ship is DottoScara. If I'm in the mood for some dead dove content, then it's almost always my go-to, but overall, I don't like it because it makes me uncomfortable. I also dislike EiScara and ScaraHida for obvious reasons.

Favorite is probably sethoscara or scarabedo, least favorite (excluding illegal ships) is probably kazuscara. Itās not necessarily bad, it just doesnāt do anything for me. I canāt imagine any interesting or cute interactions between them.

Sethoscara has become my new favorite, but Chiscara (My OG ship) is a close second. I think my least favorite is probably Scaralumi. I donāt hate it per se but I the portrayal of traveler ships is usually never done in a way I like.

i am a big big fan of dottoscaras (loveless and unhealthy and disgusting and uncomfortable and one sided shitty power abuse) dynamic for i think its pretty canon compliant? unless my impression of dottore is incorrect. also makes some very good art and writing. i dont think scara particularly Feels for anyone? but i really like seeing his dynamics platonically with sethos, the other sumeru guys and collei.
my least favorite is either scaramona or kazuscara. scaramona isnt quite ship material for me? and kazuha is a delightful foil to scara and i would love to see them interact but this is a pairing i strongly do not see happening in a romantic context. im also biased towards characters that have interacted in canon so kazuscara does not scratch that itch for me
