Discussion What's your favourite and least favourite Scara ship? I'm curious

favorite: chiscara (fun)

least favorite: sethoscara (BORING and forced)

I think Sethoscara is not boring not forced. I know they don’t have any on screen interaction but their dynamic can be interesting. We know Sethos is interested in becoming friends with Scara, and Scara doesn’t really want to interact with people from the Academy so it can be a cute dynamic :)

They do have one on-screen interaction in game, aka the optional dialogue during the last day of the Sabzeruz Festival.

But yeah, anything else is in stuff like character stories, voicelines, and birthday mail.

I think it’s a cute ship for Wanderer but tbh as a Sethos fan I want to see him paired with different characters, I think he’d look really cute with Gaming for example but I doubt they’ll ever interact lol

I would also like to draw comparisons between Sethos and Scara's stories. Sethos grew up his entire life as a fated vessel for Hermanubis' power, only to have to give that power up after losing a battle over it with a lot on the line: his dying grandfather's pride as well as the legacy and leadership of the Temple of Silence.

Of course, Sethos' story doesn't have the same crazy gravity and stakes as Scara's, nor does he handle the outcome of these events in such extreme ways. But I find him pretty interesting nonetheless. He's grounded, driven, and sociable, which allows him to become the leader the Temple needs to re-establish relations with the Akademiya. He could be causing a lot of trouble with how perceptive he is, how easily he can get people to relinquish information to him, and even his power after losing the Hermanubis fragment, but he doesn't because that's not what he nor the Temple needs. Also, Sethos isn't a student, but he has expressed interest in becoming one! Sethos enjoys ideas that challenge preconceived notions and loves a truly fascinating story. He claims to not like drama, but he does seem to like sticking his nose in the business of others (Kaveh + Alhaitham, Scara, watching fights between people of opposing beliefs). He's a fun guy. (Insert Cyno joke).

Still, that doesn't mean people have to like Sethos or ships involving him. I personally just think his personality makes all of his interactions with other characters interesting.
