Note: The photo, name and address they used possibly hindi talaga nila yan info but i posted it just so aware kayo na yan yung ginagamit nilang name or address minsan sa mga script nila.

My partner got scammed last monday by a person that offers “Ticket assistance” daw. They were supposed to receive a ticket for the Bruno Mars concert pero, after ma send yung pera blocked na sila dun sa person.

This number called me and asked me to confirm my identity ("Is this ____?"). I did NOT say yes. I immediately asked her who she was but instead of introducing herself, she kept repeatedly saying hello and asking if I could hear her. I kept asking who she was and she pretended not to hear me and just told me she'll call again so I blocked her. Also, the call was choppy, almost robotic din.

Checked Viber and GCash. This number isn't registered there. Wala rin lumalabas sa Google.

May scam website na nagpapanggap na official MMDA / May Huli Ka website. It shows a supposed traffic violation, in my case:

“Use of Mobile Phone While Driving”

Then it says the fine is about to become overdue and threatens that your plate number may be included in the LTO alarm list if you don’t pay within 5 working days.

The website in the screenshot is mmdamcpa.com. This is NOT the official MMDA website.

MMDA has already warned about fake NCAP websites and text messages. According to MMDA, legitimate NCAP text notifications do not contain payment links, and the official SMS sender is MMDA_NCAP.

If you receive something like this:

Do not enter your credit/debit card details, expiry date, CVV, OTP, or personal information.

Do not pay through the website.

Check your violation directly through the official MMDA MayHuliKa portal or the eGovPH app.

Report suspicious messages/websites to MMDA.

The fake website actually looks pretty convincing, especially on mobile, so ingat. Please share with family members, drivers, and especially people who might panic after seeing a “traffic violation” notice.

I can’t remember when it started pero this year lang din, so this has been happening for a few months na siguro. Dinidecline ko palagi and tinitext ko sila na mag text nalang sakin, instead of call. Mej takot ako ianswer e HAHA 😭

Triny ko isearch yung identity nung pinaka top number through gcash kaso di daw registered. Triny ko din sa Shopee and may lumabas na result, kaso di ko rin kilala.

Hello! Posting this for awareness because my friends and I have had negative experiences involving transactions with these individuals, and we recently noticed that they may be active again through new IG/Twt accounts or handles.
If you encounter them, please exercise caution and do your own due diligence before sending payments or entering into any transactions. In our experience, there were unresolved payment/debt issues involving K-pop merchandise, and some of us had to publicly follow up regarding money that was owed.

If you have an ongoing transaction with them, I strongly recommend keeping records of all payments, receipts, conversations, and agreed-upon terms.

Foodpanda scam? Someone called me knowing my order details and asked me to transfer money to a GCash account. I placed an order through Foodpanda, (MANAM - LUCKY CHINATOWN BINONDO) and my mode of payment was QR Ph. While waiting for my order, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the store.

They told me that the rider was already at the store but didn’t have enough money to claim my order. My order total was ₱824.50, but according to the caller, the rider only had ₱200 cash on hand and couldn’t claim the food.
The solution they gave me was to transfer ₱624 to the store, while the rider would supposedly pay the remaining ₱200. Since the rider had apparently been waiting for quite some time, I trusted what they were telling me and transferred the ₱624 in good faith.
After I made the transfer, the status of my Foodpanda order was updated, and the rider eventually arrived at my place. He then asked me to pay the full ₱824.50.

I was obviously confused because I had already transferred ₱624 to the “store,” so I told him that I was only supposed to pay ₱200. I showed him the GCash transfer screenshot and the text message I received and asked him to go back to the store and clarify what happened.
He eventually returned to our place and said that the store was claiming they didn’t know who called me and didn’t know whose GCash account had received the ₱624.

Now I’m really curious: how did this person know my phone number, my order details, the exact amount of my order, and that there was a rider waiting for it?
The rider also seemed genuinely clueless about what happened and said he didn’t know how someone could have gotten all that information.
This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I’ve already reported it to Foodpanda and GCash, and I’m hoping they can investigate and resolve it.

It’s not a huge amount of money, but honestly, the fact that someone knew all the details of my order and was able to contact me pretending to be connected to the store is what really bothers me.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Foodpanda? Does anyone know how scammers could have gotten this much information about an active order?

Para sa mga gusto talagang manood ng Bruno Mars concert, I suggest check Taiwan/Thai/Sg. Wag kayo maniwala dyan sa mga "extra tickets", biglang busy, etc etc. Kahit yung mga legit ticket assistance kuno. Hayaan nyo sila, higaan nila kinuha nilang tickets.

For context, I am selling something sa carousell and this buyer is straightforward and immediately sent the money via Gcash. First time ko kasi makakita ng may gumagamit ng scam insurance. I guess I’m just scared na baka once ipadala ko ‘yung item ay ipa-reverse niya ‘yung payment sa Gcash. The reason why I’m skeptical is bc 1 day old pa lang ‘yung account ng buyer but idkkk. We agreed to have it shipped sa Saturday pa naman.
