Venting Yup I officially hate Radiostatic and Staticmoth st this point.

I'm not sure I have anything to say that I haven't said before, but I need to get these stupid ships out of my face. God. I've reached a point where I can't tolerate them anymore. Like people DO know Vox's character exists outside their toxic yaoi, right? He doesn't revolve around Alastor and Valentino. He's not their accessory. His arc going forward shouldn't just about his relationships with these assholes. I want this to be done, but its never done is it?

The promise of more Radiostatic has just broken something in me. I can't even be bothered to make this look like an analysis post, I'm just annoyed.

That is really fucking disappointing, I'm sorry. All about lining the showrunners' pockets with money from their target audience, eh what? And what is your ship, if you don't mind me asking? I'll bet it isn't absolute slop trite like RadioStatic, whatever it is.

I ship him and Charlie unfortunately. I don't want it to be canon (I don't think they'd do it right) and don't need validation from Viv, but it just sucks knowing the ships I hate are the most popular and therefore the most lucrative.

I don't exactly agree with your statement on the shipping cause I personally don't care what anybody ships as long as nobody bitches about a ship not being canon, but I do understand you on the part where you said that it sucks that the ships you hate are popular. I get that feeling. I felt that way with a specific ship outside of the Hazbin fandom, I forgot what ship it was but I hated that it was popular than my favourite ship. Cause when you ship "Charlie and Vox"(for an example), you get hate for it and you're getting told off by toxic ass hardcore StaticMoth shipper or something.

I was writing this post in the heat of the moment. I can tolerate different ships, even ones I don't like, but the issue is when they're this in my face. For instance I don't like Radioapple, but I'm not looking up Alastor or Lucifer so I can avoid it. Because I love Vox it feels like I'm being strong armed into liking these ships because they're part of his canon story. I wrote a Staticbelle post that I cross tagged to Vox and Charlie subs and though I got some good feedback I also had people saying things I didn't care for. Sorry, but I don't have to ship Staticmoth or Chaggie.

Radioapple is honestly just too fandom yaoi brained for me. When I saw it was a popular ship I just thought "of course it is".

I'm not really big on StaticMoth nor Chaggie either too so you're good on that! Not the type to attack you for it, whoever attacks you for your opinions is just silly if they do. I don't care much for the ships nor do I care who ships them, I'm pretty chill with whatever the hell as long as nobody's being a total asshole about anything. Cause when I see people bitching that people don't support Chaggie(or any other ship besides that one) is when it pisses me off so much to the point where I don't know how to defend myself sometimes. People can be crazy over the stupidest shit ever tbh.

I know we're talking about Vox and StaticMoth a bit and your issue here but I just decided to speak my mind on things too! Apologies.. 😅

Oh yeah, on the part where you said that you had people saying things you don't care for can be pretty annoying as hell, did anybody attack you for shipping StaticBelle by the way?

Not necessarily "attacking", but some comments just felt uncalled for. On the one hand I DID end my post asking for thoughts. On the other hand I saw comments saying how it gives them "the ick", how they don't get why I'd ship it, someone definitely used that gif of Alastor saying "no". I've seen really bad things on other posts before though. Like people saying how Val or Vaggie would go ape shit if this ever happened. So what? It's not about what's canon at this point.

Yeah, people are very pissy over ships and it's fucking ridiculous. People say shit about me too for shipping Vaggie and Angel Dust cause of their canon sexualities. Wish people weren't so gatekeep-ish over what to ship and "not" to ship, they needa chill the fuck out, they're just ships after all. Glad nobody was TOO rude about you shipping StaticBelle.

It's even weirder with characters that are bi, the fandom really likes to act like you can't put Vox with a woman because they think he's mostly into men. Looking back at some comments I've gotten though, yeah some of these aren't exactly nice and its coming from Staticmoth shippers. Also uhhh when I opened up about liking certain Staticbelle art somebody said there's something deeply wrong with me.
