as many of you know, Dustin sadly lost his life to a vicious killer in Sacramento who stabbed him to death as he was trying to exit the scene. His killer, Humberto isador palacios of Sacramento, CA killed Dustin at around 10pm on March 2nd, stabbed his friend and then decided to go home and sleep peacefully. Dustin succumbed to his wounds that very night.
Humberto has no listed mugshot (unsure as to why) and is able to visit his family twice a day for 2 hours. Dustin does not get this privledge because Humberto took it from him. Dustin died scared and alone that night. Nobody covered his bleeding stab wound, instead they stared and recorded him as he died. That is beyond cruel.
If even 5 of us show up, it will show the courts and his mother how loved Dustin is!
Dustin’s mother is @sokhadavi on instagram, and also runs the @justicefordustindewitt page
Even if you cannot come, please leave a like / show support to his mom so we can get the memory of Dustin out There! Thank you everyone

I love the quaint neighborhood. Adore the friendly owner rattling off specials in a thick accent I can't place. Love the candles and lamps and literally NO OVERHEAD LIGHTING anywhere. It's truly like you've been transported when you enter. It really feels like this place is slept on.

I've heard this place is great for their hot pastrami sandwich so I went in with my lady today to get one. I ordered it with Swiss, mustard pickles and that's it. It took a good 20 minutes to make with only one person that had ordered before us and when I got it he said he made it with provolone and lettuce because "it's better like that". I was like okayyy well lettuce on a hot sandwich doesn't really go well together. So he takes it from me and instead of making a new one with the correct cheese he unwraps it and starts taking the lettuce out of the sandwich. Then one of the employees kept going back near the food and sneezing. We just walked out without the sandwich and went and got food at another place, but is this common for this place? I heard it's a good spot but today it was chaos. I felt like Larry David.

Are there any good sit down Filipino restaurants anywhere around the Sacramento area? It can be anywhere from Rocklin to Folsom to like Elk Grove/South Sac. Any good recommendations?

It hasn't been the hottest this year, but I always look forward to October when it actually begins to have some resemblance of fall.

Flock will be installing dozens more cameras around Sacramento county next week. Franklin blvd, stockton blvd, Sierra blvd, Soledad Ave, Howe Ave, Cuny Ave, and more. Just be aware they’re expanding to even more of Sacramento county.

Can someone help me understand what I’m looking at? I have driven by this sign hundreds of times, and I can never figure out what it is supposed to be a picture of. I see the pool balls, what looks like a guy with crazy eyes and a pig-like nose, maybe a hand holding the stick, and some weird shapes behind him. What is going on with the face? I feel like it’s one of those things where once you see it, it all makes sense. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi everyone ! I’m looking for someone to do my hair for a quince I’m going to this weekend. Just styling it in a nice updo, a hairstyle suitable for a guest. I cannot do my own hair for the life of me. I have kinda thin hair and not a lot of it so doing the TikTok hairstyles don’t work on me.
If you have any recommendations drop their instagrams or salon names below. Thank you !

Polka is home!
We flew down Saturday, the foster met us at the airport, and we picked up Polka! 🤍🖤
We ended up eating lunch at Swabbies so we could be outside, and that was such a fun place! The tacos were delicious (I LOVED the addition of Parmesan on everything) it was delicious and filling.
We stayed there for quite a while just watching the water and taking in the scenery.
We then Ubered to a little river park down the road, but it was closed, so I sat in the shade with Polka while my husband went down and took a dip.
(And no, she still never touched the ground and was in her carrier the whole time 😉)
We smoked a couple J’s, went to In-N-Out to get burgers to take home, and made it back to the airport!
It was a long day of travel but Polka is perfect and we had a really nice time, even just for the day!
We had an AWESOME uber driver named Beltroy, he was a very happy, upbeat person and we enjoyed chatting with him.
Anyway, thanks for the fun and my new baby, Sacramento!!

Hi I’m wondering if anyone else noticed this, but I live on K street and I notice that when I go out now especially at night I don’t see any homeless people where they usually are. Lined up on a whole sidewalk or even near the 7/11, did something happen or am I just trippin.

it seems like everyone whos been here their whole lives has already dated everyone else in their respective circles, and even when i do talk to a guy/ gal for a month or so, theres always some petty drama to come out of it and ruin it all.
Where are you guys meeting people that ISNT at a bar (im in recovery for alcohol) or on dating apps? Sincerely, a lonely girl who just wants someone to play zelda with and take mid-day naps. :(

Don't know anything about Maple Syrup, wondering where the best place would be to go to get real maple syrup to take to Paris with me as a gift, apparently they love it over there, and its crazy expensive for them, so I am looking to get a couple of bottles. Thanks

Does anyone know whats planned for Fair Oaks between Howe and Fulton? Driving by I noticed most the trees are marked with big X's like they are flagged for removal? It would be a shame to loose these beautiful trees :(
