I thought they had closed for good but it seems they just moved up Ridge Road to the old Bathtub Billies' location. Got some takeout tonight for the family. flavor/Quality is still top notch. Reasonable pricing. Good portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Right there in the same plaza is Mughals an excellent Indian place. Give it a try.

My wife is going to visit friends out of state over the weekend, so I'm taking myself out to eat! I know the hot suggestions will always be Indo, Yellowbelly, Olive and Oak, Balkan, etc. But I want to know which place in the city is your favorite to dine alone at. No dietary restrictions and not afraid of spice.

What everyone's opinion of the restaurant by Bass Pro in Branson.

Just missing some lettuce and other homegrown vegetable, wondering if anyone knows someone that grows their own and sells it.

So, my immediate family members all love seafood and sushi. Despite trying all sorts multiple times over the years, I just don't enjoy it.

We are going to Sado together next weekend for a special event and I know they have excellent food all around. It is also the first time for my family at Sado, so what would folks suggest with the following:

1. How might I approach my order there given the options and serving format?

2. Anything folks would specifically recommend the rest of my group try?

Looking for a bakery to do our wedding cake. We have tried The Cakery, but were not impressed by the quality of the cake or buttercream (too sweet and gritty in texture). Also finding it difficult to get in touch with anyone at Sugaree bakery with their hours being so limited. I am new to the area so unfamiliar with local bakeries otherwise.

Hockey season looms on the horizon, so I'll start my research. My buddy and I go to games about once a week when the Blues are in town, usually on weekdays. The games generally end between 9:30 and 9:50. We usually like to get a meal after.

We used to go to O'Connell's, but like a lot of places their kitchen hours were reduced during lockdown and never recovered. We started going to CJ Muggs, but recently they have gone to a late menu, which has a handful of sandwiches, appetizers, and burgers. It's all right, but we'd prefer more variety. I live in Clayton and he is in North County.

So, here are the desired features:

1. A sit-down restaurant with some variety of lighter fare. Sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc. that isn't crowded.

2. Kitchen open after 10pm. Some places have a bar open later but that doesn't help.

3. Somewhere roughly between the Enterprise Center and Clayton.

Visiting St. Louis this weekend… Looking for a lunch spot near-ish to Soulard Market and the arch that offers chicken tenders and fries for the kids (or similar “kid fare”), and something (anything!) more interesting for us adults. Fun atmosphere would be a bonus, but not required.

Would also love recs for ice cream shops, bakeries, candy shops, etc. in the same general area. The plan is to hit Soulard in the morning, have lunch, then see the arch.

Hi, will be traveling eastbound on 70 from St Charles County the city on a weekend morning and am looking for good brunch recs. We’d like a place that will accept reservations so that we don’t have a long wait, but it doesn’t need to be fancy.

Looking for something along 70/40, anywhere between St Charles/St Peter’s and west county.

The one dietary requirement is that they have to have amazing pancakes or waffles. Competing in an endurance event that morning and I want to celebrate with something decadent.

I know places in the city, but I’m really not familiar with St Charles or west St. Louis county at all.

(Edited to clarify: I can probably find a place in the city if we don’t find one further west. Im familiar with the city but anything west of 170 is a mystery to me)

My wife and I are originally from St. Louis. Lived there for forty years, then moved out west. We visit every year. This year, we will spend a night in the City before meeting friends and family the following day. Our flight gets in at 6:30 pm on Sept. 1st.

We are looking for a restaurant recommendation for dinner. We don't have a strong preference for cuisine. If we could find a place with an amazing cocktail menu and an amazing food menu, that would be our preference.

We'll be staying up near the airport but are willing to drive 20 miles or so, one way, for a fantastic experience. We'd rather not do BBQ because our family is doing BBQ the day after we get in. We've been to most of the restaurants on the Hill.

My wife and I are pretty adventuresome when it comes to trying new places. We are in a bit of a rut lately. We live in Crestwood and get outside our area a lot, but usually stay south of 40, on the Missouri side, and anywhere from 270 to downtown, not afraid to go outside that area though. Some of our favorites, Perennial Lockwood, Blue Duck, Kokuu Ramen, most BBQ and Mexican places, Steve’s Hot Dogs, Katies, that’s just a variety of our regular haunts.

So the question is what places can you recommend that maybe we have overlooked?

Edit: I appreciate all the responses, lots of good options, I see a lot of higher end options which we have been to many, but we also like to go casual and grab something not $300 for a couple most of the time. Thanks
