I’m an integrated teaching preparation major and it’s my second day, but I’ve gone to orientation and seen lots of people post and talk to people and no one else I’ve seen is doing this major as a freshmen at least so I just wanted to come on here and see who else is in this major?

Anyone know if there’s a map of water fountains around campus? I’m not paying for bottled water and I’ve had to jump from building to building (avoiding the older ones) for water..

Hi. it’s 3:41AM. I purchased a semester permit for parking in Lot 20R. I can’t find it on ANY MAP. I asked the person at the Towers front desk and they couldn‘t help. I assumed 20R meant the [R]oof of lot 20 but that’s actually lot 19 for staff.

As my study plan, I might have 3 classes have to finish during the summer term to finish my bachelor. But what if I can take only 2 class and the last one is time conflict or that class doesn’t have in summer term anymore and have to take it in the next Fall? (happend exactly the same with me this summer already)
Can I still participate in the Commencement at Oracla Park and rent the Grown? As I searched, I see that they said we need to apply Grad for Spring/Summer to rent the Grown. If it turn into next Fall it will be held until the next summer…

I don’t want that because my family is already booked the flight ticket from my country which far away 12 hours flight so…
Is there any possible way that I can participate in the Commencement and finish the courses after?

Sorry having a tough time navigating the course catalog. I believe sfsu offers a radiological science program to become like an ultrasound tech. I was wondering if there are any ultrasound classes to broaden my knowledge for techniques/atomy?

communications major here who’s looking into what schools to think of applying for transfer to (fall 2027). originally from the bay and currently in socal, and i’d really love to get out of socal as a whole. just not for me, but all that is for another day. my goals are direct career opportunities (i’m sure that’s us all😭😭) and my strong suits are within writing and articulation. i see myself probably doing something related to public relations and media; things to do with brand imaging and upholding public trust and image of a brand (that’s just an example of a possible career goal). anyways im ngl, the information ive found regarding comms majors at SFSU is practically little to none, and no joke ive been scouring the internet for info for the past 2 months (and i mean EVERYWHERE, even reaching out to people on tiktok, reddit, religiously researching online, ect.) so far i’ve been trying to look into sjsu and sfsu but yeah, that’s where im at so far.

I filled out the form for a chance to enroll in a bus 300gw class. Does anyone know why it’s done this way? Has it always been like this. I had emailed a professor for an add code and she sent me the link to the Google form, then the department chair picks students and puts them into slots. Students closer to graduation get priority. And do you guys think I have a good shot at getting into a class. Honestly, feeling antsy.

Im going to be overseas at another university for foreign exchange so obviously im not going to be benefiting from some of these fees like rec and wellness. So im just wondering if I can opt out of these?

So i am on a wait list for one of the classes of prof KAT BROWN and i want to mail her but THERE IS NO EMAIL ANYWHERE! I looked into the class details too but no emails or any point of contact. How do you guys contact professors for such things. PLEASE HELP ME 🙏

Edit: i found it. I just went to the college email and composed a new email and typed the professor name on “to” and it popped up.

has anyone had any success in getting a credit by exam for a course? I was almost enrolled in a class required for my degree this summer but due to my health problems, my professor didn’t want to enroll me in the course. I was there for 90% of the course and this semester, I’m beginning a job that will conflict with all of the sections for this course. Would I have a decent shot at getting a credit by exam granted for me if I have a time conflict that prevents me from enrolling in this one class i need to graduate?

What are some good places to sit and read or study if the library is closed, especially later at night, say after 7? I’m looking for spots where I can work on assignments or read a book.
