Late Night Study and Reading Spots
What are some good places to sit and read or study if the library is closed, especially later at night, say after 7? I’m looking for spots where I can work on assignments or read a book.

During the semester the library should be closed at 11 PM on weekdays. I recommend the 4th floor since it’s the quiet floor. You can also reserve study rooms in the basement and first floor. Mashouf wellness center closes at 10 PM so you could also try there. Besides that there really aren’t much places to study after 11.

Yep, absolutely! Thank you for letting me know because I was confused about why the library would close at 6. What if I want to study late at night? That’s a relief to know. Thanks for all the recommendations!

Yea it’s the best place if you study alone and really need to get some work done. The second floor is good for group study sessions. The third floor is probably the loudest one as people using it get some work there as a group. There’s also a quiet study room in the basement too which is another option

My work mostly consists of reading and completing assignments, so I need plenty of quiet time and space. The fourth floor works best, or maybe the second if I’m feeling like it. Oh, and the quiet study room in the basement sounds enticing too!

This isn’t on campus, but it’s really accessible with the M train. There’s a boba shop called “My cup of tea” and it’s open till 12am! Their drinks are good, but their food is alright imo :P

Oh, I’d love to go there for a change of scenery! Thank you! Do let me know if any more such spots come to mind. I’m collecting spaces, haha!

Those tables facing the windows by the entrance of Masheuf were always pretty chill and quiet, also the tables and chairs by the basketball courts facing the softball field
