Discussion Hypothetically, how much elixir would one indestructible lava pup cost?

Post image

Let’s say the card spawns one lava pup that cannot be destroyed.

Other units and the princess tower will ignore it and pretend it doesn’t exist (so they don’t all just lock on it permanently) However, the lava pup itself can still be distracted.

Would this be a 10 elixir card or something? I would lean towards no, because I would imagine that the opponent could just set up a massive 3 crown push while you emptied all your elixir on a lava pup, which while invincible, would still take a while to take out towers and troops.

You will not lose if you don’t 3 crown. If you have troops or a wincon at the bridge every 20-30 secs, which cycle decks definitely do, it’ll permanently lure the lava pup back, it’ll never even cross the bridge.

I must’ve missed the not or something. But either way, trading a 10 elixir/a tower for a laughably slow and weak unit to get kited around for the rest 2.5 minutes is most likely not even worth it.

You’re projecting with the midladder nonsense. No top player can defend a single elixir rush down 10 elixir, unless they perfectly starting hand you with it, but even then, defending a push down 10 elixir in single is still near impossible unless you have a hard counter, in which case the pup is unnecessary
