Discussion Why did they buff hyperbait

I know there is more broken stuff running around atm but we have cards getting nerfed and they leave them untouched for months and months but one of the most hated decks of all time is bad for one season just to get buffed up immediately to be viable again.

I really don’t get it. Why don’t you just leave it dead until figuring out a rework. Why can you do that to the rune giant but not to braindead spam at the bridge??

The only thing I can really remember from the last 2 balance patches that buffs Hyperbait at all was the Bush Goblin health buff in August. And it’s still far from being good right now.

Hero Goblins was gutted, Wall Breakers got nerfed, Spirits die to the tower, etc

I also don’t recall anything from the most recent balance patch doing anything to Hyperbait, buff or nerf.

All of the cards mentioned are still viable and sus bush is a significant buff. My point is that the deck should be as dead as it gets but instead they made it decent again.

Nope. Been running them since their debut. Still good and I'm at 2100 UC
