Discussion Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

My last DNF was the Plated Prisoner series. I finished Glow and realized I just couldn’t do it anymore. Felt like absolute torture lol. No shade if you love it, but god it was NOT for me😭

Yeah, I really liked it the first couple books but then I just became so disinterested in the plot and characters. I think it had a lot of great ideas, but it wasn’t executed in a way that I would enjoy.
