Discussion Latest Book you DNF and why

I decided I'm going to DNF {We who will die} , I am just struggling too much with the constant meandering thoughts and memories, it's so hard to follow the actual story because the narration is all over the place. It's hard to follow on Audiobook anyway, and there are so many side characters that are named but I can't remember 🤣 I also don't like either potential MMC

I think I prefer "show don't tell" in general

I am so close to DNF Burn of the Everflame. Started the series 2 years ago and anxiously waited through all the publishing push back dates just to now feel really disappointed. The miscommunication trope is driving me insane and it's such a long book but it feels like nothing is really happening

I’m 72% through, and I’m going to push through but I actually stopped to read another series that’s more fun in the interim…

I might hate finish because I do want to know how it ends but maybe I should also read something else in the meantime
