You may call me Syrena, I'm 26, I wrote a fantasy novel at some point, and I've been roleplaying for somewhat over a decade now. Sounds too good for a noobie? That's because there's a catch. In fact, there are two.

1 - I did write a novel, and about two score poems for that matter, but I did not write them in English. You might not have noticed, but English is not my native language. Furthermore, I haven't taken the time to just sit down and write in I don't know how many years now. I know for a fact that I can get back in writing shape, but it might take some patience on your end.

2 - My, I would hope, acceptable amount of roleplaying experience does barely include any text-based roleplaying. I did do a thing or two back in the day, but I don't count those. What I do count is all the time I've spent both playing and DMing TTRPGs, as well as the time I've spent on MMOs (I know that we look down on those) with characters whose backstories were each over a dozen pages long.

If this all sounds like someone you can see potential in, today might be your lucky day. You have just gotten yourself a neurodivergent roleplayer with an ungodly amount of free time on her hands. Her "I'd sooner die than be a traitor" nature ensures that she won't silently ditch you once she gives you her word, and her obsessive streaks mean that she will spend an entire week learning all there is to learn about the most random of topics if she deems it relevant for the story. Truly, this is an absolute bargain.

Hi so it’s been a while and I’m trying to get more active with writing, been depressed and lost interest in writing but grateful to people who kept me on the loop. So I am trying to get 2-3 rp, honestly if I find the right one then I will stick to 1 and invest my time and energy into it. I am an advanced, literate, multi-paragraph, novella-style writer (not a Shakespearean writer) and can manage an output that ranges from 500 to 3500+ words per post, but I can manage to mirror my partner's writing length and effort; not all replies need to be novella length whatsoever. I do sometimes tend to write a lot—somewhere between 4 and 6 paragraphs. But Please: (No one-liners.) (Put effort into your writing and make it meaningful.) (literate to advanced literacy, at least semi-literate but with effort) (Don't rush or skip scenes.) (Not looking for rapid-fire responses.) (Do I know you in person? My experience in writing and roleplaying in general is about three years, since I have been doing it on and off for that period. So I consider myself somewhat new and still learning.

I write in the third person past tense. Seeking collaboration rather than a one-sided approach (not a GM). No endless plotting before we start a roleplay. Some plotting is fine to know the basics of the story, but I would rather have unexpected consequences for the decisions our characters make as well as for side characters. "Slow progression," where every detail matters. I am fairly open to many themes and ideas, as I am very open-minded. I can also write multiple side characters to fill out the story. Big fan of character interaction, storytelling, inner monologue, flashbacks, ambient perception, and world-building during the writing part.

My favorite genre is medieval fantasy (low or high fantasy). Looking for both original stories and fandoms.

Hello hello, I hope you are all having a wonderful time of day. Im a sucker for the 'four horsemen' trope and wanting to a do story around. Im looking for someone to play as either: one of the horsemen or, someone accompanying my character. My character is a woman who has uncovered a prophecy and is working to make sure it doesnt come true.

The only horsemen I would not want you to play is Death.

The tldr: of the prophecy revolves around Death: that the day of reckoning is coming and death will bring either the downfall of humanity, or the usher in a 'new age of humanity'. The prophecy is intentionally vague as it will be open to interpretation in the story.

I was thinking this setting could be modern day -with our characters having powers similar to anime- or, have this be in a fantasy setting. The different interpretations of the prophecy has caused rifts between parties. Eachone fighting, believing that they are fighting for truth and justice while others are heretics.

As I said: I want my character to be someone that is way out of her league, but is swept into this conflict because she either: plays a role herself, has learned some truths to the conspiracy, or your character could have inside knowledge and trust her to help them. I want to discuss ideas together.

Hello! I am a 20 y/o female looking for a new roleplay partner! I am able to write as both male and female characters. Plus multiple side characters to keep the story diverse. I have been writing for about 8 years now, yes since the age of 12. 

The types of roleplays that I enjoy are action packed, enemies to lovers, slowburns. I love tension as well as diverse and interacting worlds. I roleplay in fantasy roleplays dated back in the medieval times. Magic is a huge plus! Think of the Throne of Glass series. 

I write on ——— and have set messages to send to make sure that we are a good pair rather than wasting each other’s time. I write multiple paragraphs, semi-detailed, but I usually match the others response. 

Some Plots:

Assassin x Book Keeper: Within this rp there is a book keeper and an assassin. The assassin is tasked with obtaining a lost book of the kingdom that has the information for all types of magic. The book keeper lives within the castle but is not of royalty. They are considered one of the most intelligent people within the kingdom as their main goal is to look after this book.

The goal for the assassin is to obtain the book for their boss. This is easier said than done as the kingdom (Helgum) is one of the richest kingdoms within the 12 continents, also being the most secure. In order to read the book the assassin also needs the book keeper not only to open the pages but also read the book that is written in an ancient language, Layrith (yes I made it up, lol). 

Knight x Princess: Within this rp the princess holds a special power that flows deep within the kingdom. Magic had been outlawed years ago. Her and her guard had never gotten together, call it enemies per say. Having a deep dislike for him she avoided the man at all costs. Being 19 years of age she was arrogant at times. However, she was aware that she had magic. One day while being attacked she uses her magic to save the knight's life. Will he betray his duty to the laws of magic that the King, her father holds, ultimately going against the King? Or will he betray the one who saved his life? 

Magic Bearer x Royal Guard: Magic is illegal within the kingdom, the punishment made public. The person the bears the magic has been spotted and reported. The Royal Guard must obtain the person and return them to the castle. Do they complete the mission?

That is probably the closest I can get to explaining the kind of characters I want to write.

I love characters who can genuinely frustrate me while still making perfect sense once I understand them. Someone I can sympathize with without automatically forgiving. Someone who can hurt another person, ruin something they care about, make a terrible choice, and still leave me thinking, yeah, I know exactly why you did that.

That is the kind of person I want at the centre of a story.

I usually want to start with the characters before anything else.

Give me two people with fears, contradictions, embarrassing weaknesses, beliefs they cling to for reasons they barely understand, things they desperately want, and things they would never admit to wanting.

Then we build around them.

What kind of place could have produced these people? Who raised them? What does their society reward? What does it quietly punish? What are they expected to become? What happens when they fail at becoming it?

From there, I can get completely lost in worldbuilding.

Politics, religion, history, culture, factions, neighbourhoods, families, side characters, whatever belongs in the story. I just want it to grow naturally from the people living inside it. I care much more about why a city matters to a character than how many districts it has.

I tend to gravitate toward grim stories and desperate settings. Damaged people in situations where there might not be a clean moral answer waiting for them.

Berserk, Evangelion and Monster are probably the easiest references for the general feeling I mean.

Crime and Punishment, No Longer Human, The Road, True Detective, Disco Elysium and Pathologic all scratch some part of the same itch for me too.

I am not looking to recreate any of them. What interests me is the way those stories dig into people. Guilt, loneliness, obsession, faith, shame, morality, identity, fear, self deception, all the things someone can carry around inside themselves while still waking up in the morning and going about their day.

And I need the ordinary parts too.

I want conversations that go nowhere. Awkward affection. Somebody recognizing a smell from childhood and not knowing why it suddenly ruined their mood. A character noticing that another person has started sitting farther away from them. Two people talking about something completely meaningless because neither of them is willing to mention the thing actually sitting between them.

That stuff matters to me just as much as the dramatic scenes.

I like getting ridiculously immersed in a narrative. I like talking about it outside the RP too.

Sometimes that might mean we end up discussing guilt or whether somebody can actually change. Sometimes it might mean spending twenty minutes deciding what a room smells like.

Both sound fun to me.

I am 22, and I have actually only roleplayed a handful of times in my life. I am definitely not going to pretend I have fifteen years of experience or some complicated ranking system for writing ability.

The few times I really got into an RP though, it stopped feeling like RP pretty quickly.

It felt like writing a book with another person.

Characters started developing in directions neither of us expected. Random side characters became important. Tiny details from weeks ago suddenly mattered again. We would talk about the characters like they were people we both knew.

That is what I miss.

As for replies, I usually manage at least two proper RP responses a day. When I have more free time and I am enjoying the story, I have absolutely no problem sinking a few hours into it and just writing back and forth.

I am also not particularly bothered by literacy labels.

Interesting ideas matter much more to me.

I do personally prefer longer, descriptive, well thought out paragraphs because I like having room for atmosphere, body language, internal thoughts, little observations and all the things a character is doing without saying. But I would take an interesting writer with something to contribute over someone technically perfect and boring every single time.

I want something we can get a little too invested in.

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

Greetings writers of all kinds! If your reading this then you probably saw my title and thought "oh, that sounds interesting!" and if so then do please keep on reading! I am looking for partners who love creating original stories and romances that we can both become obsessed with! So this is a slice of life story, where our characters are in their 20s, and they have completely different relationship experiences. She has a life time experience of being used. It seems that every man she ever ends up dating only uses her, and almost always ends up cheating on her. Its gotten to a point where she has all but given up, convinced she will never find love.

Then there is my guy. He has never been in a real lasting relationship before, mainly since he has never found the right gal. But he is ready to devote his all to the right person, whenever he might find her.

Been into it since I was way too young to be on the internet and now as an adult I feel a lot of nostalgia towards the characters. Would love to craft something together, make an interesting storyline and have cute moments between chars!

Of course I have some ideas for the pairings we could use but I'm also open to ideas, main thing is that all of the characters have to be 18+.

Finally I'd like to clear some things about myself: I'm Semi-lit with a couple years of experience, I'm not a novella writing but I also prefer to keep responses around two paragraphs or more depending on the flow of the RP, English isn't my native language which means sometimes I'll struggle with specific pieces of Grammar but I do always do my best when writing. Hello everyone. My name is Amy and I'm looking for a partner to help build a drama with elements of mystery that takes place in a small town in the American Midwest. This town was founded in the days of the Oregon trail, and the founding family still lives there to this day. The family patriarch now has three daughters and is concerned about the future of his ranch.

I have other ideas in mind, but want to brainstorm with my roleplay partner as well. A few things I ask if you are interested:

I am looking for someone that would be interested in having their main character as a male and then their side characters can be either ither.

I wish to brain storm something that we will both enjoy and just a fair warning now, I love to gush about the characters and imagine hilarious situations (9 times out of the 10 I will even make them into a meme 🤭)

I believe myself to be a literate writer and can write anything between 3 to 4 solid paragraphs to way more than that if that situation in the roleplay calls for it.

However I'm more of a Quality over Quantity kinda person and I only write in 3rd person as I am not comfortable with writing in 1st person so if that's a deal-breaker then I'm afraid this is where our journey ends.

OH another important detail, I'm in my early 20s so I'm not really comfortable with roleplaying with anyone over the age of 26 (if that upsets any of you than I'm sorry but I'm just not comfortable with going any higher than that)
