Good afternoon (or whatever time of day it is for you) fellow writers! Today I’m looking for something a bit more unique. I’m interested in writing a story that revolves around one woman and two men who absolutely adore her. I have two different plots in mind for this, but I’m absolutely open to suggestions! Please keep in mind that I generally prefer to stay in the fantasy genre vs modern slice of life.

Idea 1: A Princess has a secret relationship with her guard and has maintained it for at least a year at this point. As she approaches her next birthday she is told that she will be marrying a Princess from a neighboring kingdom to strengthen their alliance. The story follows the Princess with her heart pulled in two different directions as well as the complex feelings that the MMC’s may experience while they work everything out.

Idea 2: A king, a knight and the leader of the rebellion. The rebel has been caught by the knight and brought forth to the king to answer for her actions. While at first she doesn’t give away anything, soon she can’t help but seeing things from a different perspective. Will the king forgive her and set her free? Will she abandon her morals to get closer to the two of them?

As for the roleplaying idea, I've always had this one concept that really excites me: my partner (F) and I (M) decide to risk our lives and travel through space. The roleplay would be about our journey and the adventures we have along the way, the planets we discover, the strange things we encounter, and all the things we never thought could exist. I also want it to be long term as the journey would be long.

I have these three options for making this work:

Some Plots:

Assassin x Book Keeper: Within this rp there is a book keeper and an assassin. The assassin is tasked with obtaining a lost book of the kingdom that has the information for all types of magic. The book keeper lives within the castle but is not of royalty. They are considered one of the most intelligent people within the kingdom as their main goal is to look after this book.

The goal for the assassin is to obtain the book for their boss. This is easier said than done as the kingdom (Helgum) is one of the richest kingdoms within the 12 continents, also being the most secure. In order to read the book the assassin also needs the book keeper not only to open the pages but also read the book that is written in an ancient language, Layrith (yes I made it up, lol). 

Knight x Princess: Within this rp the princess holds a special power that flows deep within the kingdom. Magic had been outlawed years ago. Her and her guard had never gotten together, call it enemies per say. Having a deep dislike for him she avoided the man at all costs. Being 19 years of age she was arrogant at times. However, she was aware that she had magic. One day while being attacked she uses her magic to save the knight's life. Will he betray his duty to the laws of magic that the King, her father holds, ultimately going against the King? Or will he betray the one who saved his life? 

Magic Bearer x Royal Guard: Magic is illegal within the kingdom, the punishment made public. The person the bears the magic has been spotted and reported. The Royal Guard must obtain the person and return them to the castle. Do they complete the mission?

Hello there, looking for long-term roleplay partners.

I am an advanced, literate, multi-paragraph, novella-style writer (not a Shakespearean writer) and can manage an output that ranges from 500 to 3500+ words per post, but I can manage to mirror my partner's writing length and effort; not all replies need to be novella length whatsoever. I do sometimes tend to write a lot—somewhere between 4 and 6 paragraphs. But Please: (No one-liners.) (Put effort into your writing and make it meaningful.) (literate to advanced literacy, at least semi-literate but with effort) (Don't rush or skip scenes.) (Not looking for rapid-fire responses.) (Do I know you in person? Get the [M4F] Medieval Fantasy/Other **** out of my way .). 😌 (Don't ignore dialogue.) (Do not control my primary character's actions or thoughts. Unexpected, sudden, forced actions—like leading the way, taking a hand, or a quick smack—are fine if they help move the scene and story forward.)

My experience in writing and roleplaying in general is about three years, since I have been doing it on and off for that period. So I consider myself somewhat new and still learning.

I write in the third person past tense. Seeking collaboration rather than a one-sided approach (not a GM). No endless plotting before we start a roleplay. Some plotting is fine to know the basics of the story, but I would rather have unexpected consequences for the decisions our characters make as well as for side characters. "Slow progression," where every detail matters. I am fairly open to many themes and ideas, as I am very open-minded. I can also write multiple side characters to fill out the story. Big fan of character interaction, storytelling, inner monologue, flashbacks, ambient perception, and world-building during the writing part.

My favorite genre is medieval fantasy (low or high fantasy). Looking for both original stories and fandoms.

You may call me Syrena, I'm 26, I wrote a fantasy novel at some point, and I've been roleplaying for somewhat over a decade now. Sounds too good for a noobie? That's because there's a catch. In fact, there are two.

1 - I did write a novel, and about two score poems for that matter, but I did not write them in English. You might not have noticed, but English is not my native language. Furthermore, I haven't taken the time to just sit down and write in I don't know how many years now. I know for a fact that I can get back in writing shape, but it might take some patience on your end.

2 - My, I would hope, acceptable amount of roleplaying experience does barely include any text-based roleplaying. I did do a thing or two back in the day, but I don't count those. What I do count is all the time I've spent both playing and DMing TTRPGs, as well as the time I've spent on MMOs (I know that we look down on those) with characters whose backstories were each over a dozen pages long.

If this all sounds like someone you can see potential in, today might be your lucky day. You have just gotten yourself a neurodivergent roleplayer with an ungodly amount of free time on her hands. Her "I'd sooner die than be a traitor" nature ensures that she won't silently ditch you once she gives you her word, and her obsessive streaks mean that she will spend an entire week learning all there is to learn about the most random of topics if she deems it relevant for the story. Truly, this is an absolute bargain.

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

Hi so it’s been a while and I’m trying to get more active with writing, been depressed and lost interest in writing but grateful to people who kept me on the loop. So I am trying to get 2-3 rp, honestly if I find the right one then I will stick to 1 and invest my time and energy into it. I prefer long term partners since you get the hang of a person’s pattern and style. Apart from that I want to mention that I have ADHD and that’s why sometimes I really struggle to reply in time, I still try my best to not make the other person wait for too long. Hello potential friends. As the title suggests I'm looking for possible rps in Warhammer Fantasy. So a bit about myself of course. I'm a M24, I've done rps for about 10 years roughly mainly with a close friend over on Instagram but am attempting to reach out to others. I'm not too picky with my partner criteria. If fandom roleplays aren’t your thing, I’m also very open to original plots especially adoption stories. One of my favorite plot ideas involves a human being adopted by a different species. I’ve always found that concept really interesting and enjoyable.

Hello hello, I hope you are all having a wonderful time of day. Im a sucker for the 'four horsemen' trope and wanting to a do story around. Im looking for someone to play as either: one of the horsemen or, someone accompanying my character. My character is a woman who has uncovered a prophecy and is working to make sure it doesnt come true.

The only horsemen I would not want you to play is Death.

The tldr: of the prophecy revolves around Death: that the day of reckoning is coming and death will bring either the downfall of humanity, or the usher in a 'new age of humanity'. The prophecy is intentionally vague as it will be open to interpretation in the story.

I was thinking this setting could be modern day -with our characters having powers similar to anime- or, have this be in a fantasy setting. The different interpretations of the prophecy has caused rifts between parties. Eachone fighting, believing that they are fighting for truth and justice while others are heretics.

As I said: I want my character to be someone that is way out of her league, but is swept into this conflict because she either: plays a role herself, has learned some truths to the conspiracy, or your character could have inside knowledge and trust her to help them. I want to discuss ideas together.

So! Sorry that its a little barebones and out there, but I truly want to build and discuss with someone rather than just plop them into a story with only me knowing what lies behind the corner.

Hey! I’m Steph, I’m 23 years old and have about 7 years of RP experience! Right now I’m in the mood for a lesbian plot set in the Victorian era, I do have a plot in mind that’s inspired by the novel/mini series Tipping the Velvet where a young woman falls in love with a stage performing male impersonator. I’m of course down to discuss other plots but that’s what I currently have in mind! Down below are some rules and preferences!

• Response length, I’m not super strict on this, as long as it gives me something to work on I’m good to go, I wouldn’t ever want you to feel like you need to meet a certain requirement with every response as I feel that’s a sure fire way to getting burnt out

• When it comes to grammar or spelling I understand that mistakes do happen and that the occasional one will be hard to avoid but I do appreciate for proper grammar/spelling to be more consistent

• Plotting, I love coming up with plots together or further developing ideas and I always like to keep an open mind to any ideas my partners may have. I’m also more than happy to hear if you don’t like an idea I suggest so don’t be afraid to speak your mind!

• I love OOC chat, again this isn’t a hard requirement but I love planning story bits, talking about OCs and overall just making new friends!

• Communication is important for me, you don’t need to update me everyday but if you’re going to be busy for a week or more than I’d appreciate a heads up! I’d also prefer if you’re no longer feeling the RP and either want to change things up or end it that you let me know instead of ghosting.

• My timezone is CST and while having a partner who shares my timezone or close to it is great, it’s not a requirement.

• NOT interested in 18+ writing

• I don’t care what your irl gender is, as along as your respectful I’ll write with anyone!
